Beware - If your late you will be charged $99

Please beware that if you are late to the appointment even 3 minutes, you will be charged $99. I had a 9:15pm call that I was accidentally late to by 3 minutes when I tried to log in there was no where to log in. I received the email at 4 minutes from appointment time stating I missed the appt and would be charged. I can understand over 5 minutes or even 10 as they will still be getting their money from you showing up or charging a late fee. It’s not as if they can jump on another patient visit. My issue is when it’s time for your visit and this has happened just about every visit I had, is that you will get a message on the screen stating the provider is finishing with another patient sorry for the delay. Now how is it ok that I don’t get a discount for them being late but you can charge me $99 for 3 minutes. I even disputed it but if you don’t have documentation on why you are late, they deny it. I’ve closed my account with them and switched to the other “yellow app” provider and the way they run there app has been much better. We all make mistakes but shouldn’t be penalized as they do the same. Have a blessed day.

I love DOD it’s just some of the updates suck!!

Very unprofessional customer service

I was sick and my provider recommended I use this app for a virtual visit. I went through the extensive sign up process and signed up for an appointment at 3ct. I received a text saying they’re available at 1:30 and to join the room for the appointment now. A little inconvenient because 1) the didn’t ask if that time worked for me (it didn’t), and 2) they moved the appointment without telling me until it started. But whatever, I’m sick, I need coverage, so I quickly cancel my 1:30 and join the call. The Nurse Practitioner can see me and I can see and hear her. She allegedly can’t hear me. She says hello several times then hangs up. No contingency, no here’s a way we can proceed with the appointment (i.e., phone call), in the unlikely event of a tech issue. I’m now stuck in a situation where I’m in the back of the line in the mid afternoon and have moved my calendar around to accommodate this with no recourse here on the provider. I’ve gotten better service at American Airlines.

Great Care

I have a busy life that doesn’t allow me the time to “go to” the doctor’s office. This is a wonderful tool with exceptional and quick care!

FAQ

What is Doctor On Demand?

Doctor On Demand provides 24/7 access to board-certified doctors, licensed therapists, and psychiatrists through secure video visits. You can use it for common illnesses, mental health support, prescription needs, and to get doctor's notes, all from your phone, tablet, or computer.

What conditions can be treated?

The app can treat a wide range of conditions including colds, flu, sinus infections, UTIs, skin issues like acne and rashes, allergies, asthma, headaches, and mental health concerns such as anxiety and depression. Providers can also offer prescription refills and order lab tests.

How much does a visit cost?

You will see your exact visit cost upfront. The app accepts most insurance plans and partners with employers to reduce costs for eligible members. For those without insurance, affordable visit costs are available with no surprise bills.

When are doctors available?

Virtual providers are available 24/7, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays. Mental health appointments are often available within days, offering a faster alternative to traditional in-person providers.

How do I use the app?

First, download the free app and create an account. Then, choose to see the first available provider or schedule a visit. You will connect face-to-face with a provider via video to discuss your health, receive a diagnosis, and get a recommended treatment plan.
