Please beware that if you are late to the appointment even 3 minutes, you will be charged $99. I had a 9:15pm call that I was accidentally late to by 3 minutes when I tried to log in there was no where to log in. I received the email at 4 minutes from appointment time stating I missed the appt and would be charged. I can understand over 5 minutes or even 10 as they will still be getting their money from you showing up or charging a late fee. It’s not as if they can jump on another patient visit. My issue is when it’s time for your visit and this has happened just about every visit I had, is that you will get a message on the screen stating the provider is finishing with another patient sorry for the delay. Now how is it ok that I don’t get a discount for them being late but you can charge me $99 for 3 minutes. I even disputed it but if you don’t have documentation on why you are late, they deny it. I’ve closed my account with them and switched to the other “yellow app” provider and the way they run there app has been much better. We all make mistakes but shouldn’t be penalized as they do the same. Have a blessed day. ***The platform has shown for me to contact them at support which as stated above I’ve done twice and they have still not refunded my $99 late fee. I will reach out again. I will update my review on the outcome.

Professional and understanding
I love DOD it’s just some of the updates suck!!
I was sick and my provider recommended I use this app for a virtual visit. I went through the extensive sign up process and signed up for an appointment at 3ct. I received a text saying they’re available at 1:30 and to join the room for the appointment now. A little inconvenient because 1) the didn’t ask if that time worked for me (it didn’t), and 2) they moved the appointment without telling me until it started. But whatever, I’m sick, I need coverage, so I quickly cancel my 1:30 and join the call. The Nurse Practitioner can see me and I can see and hear her. She allegedly can’t hear me. She says hello several times then hangs up. No contingency, no here’s a way we can proceed with the appointment (i.e., phone call), in the unlikely event of a tech issue. I’m now stuck in a situation where I’m in the back of the line in the mid afternoon and have moved my calendar around to accommodate this with no recourse here on the provider. I’ve gotten better service at American Airlines.

I have a busy life that doesn’t allow me the time to “go to” the doctor’s office. This is a wonderful tool with exceptional and quick care!
Said 30-45 mins. After over an hour the screen said provider was reviewing my chart. Close to 5 mins later the screen flicked back to the start screen. Veronica could not have texted or called and said there was an issue connecting. She just moved on. My phone had 3 bars so not on my end
Excellent
Says 30-45 mins but has been over 1.5 hours just be honest on the wait times
It’s so easy to see a doctor. I can get my appointment done and my meds right away. My overall wellness has improved! Less stress and less anxiety!
The app is easy to use and the providers are great. Sometimes its a better option to access care faster.
I had to make an appointment with Dr On Demand today due to a medical issue. I had the nicest LPN that helped me with all of my questions and prescribed the necessary medication. I have used this app several times and everyone that I have ever spoken to has been an absolute gem!
This platform charged me $70 for being late to a weekly therapy appointment. I tried to log in when I got the link 3 minutes after the scheduled time, but I had some technical trouble. Finally got it to open 2-3 minutes later and they had already billed me $70 for being 5 minutes late to an hour long appointment. This was never something I discussed with the therapist, but apparently I had signed a general terms and conditions form (by replying “yes” to a text) 11 months ago for a totally different service. Wouldn’t let me into my appointment and won’t drop the charge because of 5 minutes one time. Not appropriate for a therapy platform and building a therapeutic relationship.

The NP was very kind and attentive. Exceptional care provided, she listened and acknowledged concerns. Trying a virtual visit was one of the best decisions I made to date, especially in pain. Thank you.
Listened to my concerns and addressed them quickly
This Dr On Demand has been a game changer for me, especially when I am not able to afford to go to the urgent care and it’s covered by my insurance 100 out of 10 recommend.
If you are looking for a very discreet, quick and immediate response for a healthcare issue, look no further! This app provides an excellent service for anyone who cannot get out to the doctor, it is like a house call online!! I will use this over and over again!!
Dr on demand now uses A1. Questions are a waste of time as provider asks them again
Efficient and friendly
