About
What's New in Holt
1.1.8
October 27, 2026
Holt now connects to Apple Health and Google Health, so your data can come from the device you already wear. Apple Health (iPhone) Connect it in Settings and Holt brings in your steps, sleep, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, VO2 max, breathing, blood oxygen, weight and workouts from your iPhone and Apple Watch. Workouts arrive with their heart rate and route. You can load up to six months of older history. Holt only reads from Apple Health and never writes to it. Google Health (Fitbit and Pixel Watch) Connect it in Settings for the same kinds of data, plus skin temperature. Workouts come with their heart rate, and with their route if you allow location. Google has no sleep score, so a night shows its length and stages without one. It opens to a limited number of people at first. Choose which source to read first Once two or more of Garmin, Google Health and Apple Health are connected, Settings has a new Data sources screen. For each kind of data, such as sleep, steps or heart rate variability, you pick which source Holt reads first. On a day it has nothing, Holt uses the next one. A workout recorded by two sources is shown once. See where data came from Activities, records, weight and your health screens now say whether a reading came from Garmin, Google Health or Apple Health. Faster and steadier • Holt opens faster. Home, your coach and your weekly goal show what they showed last time straight away and refresh behind it. • The app is a little smaller. • If one screen fails, the rest of the app keeps working and you can go back from it. • Notifications now set up a few seconds after launch, so they no longer compete with Home for the connection.
