What's New in Rack

2.1.11

October 22, 2026

Faster History opens faster, and tapping to log a set responds faster. The set arrows on iPhone work again. Phone and watch stay in step Weight and rep changes you make on the phone now reach the watch, and an older confirmation from the watch no longer overwrites them. Programs You can now end an active program. After a sync the phone keeps exactly one active program, so a program saved by your coach or through Rack's AI connector is the one your watch opens. A scheduled routine no longer interrupts a workout already running on the watch. Routines Group routines into folders. Imports Fitbod imports no longer turn a weight multiplier into extra sets. Hevy imports now work on phones set to a language other than English. Guest data Tapping Not Now on the paywall no longer erases a guest's workouts, and starting fresh now asks you to confirm first. Coach chat Long-press a message to report it. Block & Disconnect in the chat menu ends the coaching connection.

Loving Rack More Every Day! .

Thank you, Noah, for your response and for taking the time to address my concerns!
I’m enjoying Rack more and more every day as I continue learning how to use all its features. I especially love how well it integrates with my Garmin watch!
One feature I would absolutely love to see is short demonstration videos for each exercise, showing how to perform the movements correctly. This would be incredibly helpful when learning new exercises and would make the app even better!
Thank you again for your support and for continuously improving Rack. I’m excited to see what’s coming next!

Thanks for the detailed list, Carola, and for wanting to stick with Rack. In order: 1. On the FR965, swiping left on the exercise screen jumps to the next exercise without asking. The skipped exercise is still in the workout, and the up/down buttons take you back to it. I think that's what happened to your abs, but I'd like to confirm it with you. 2. On the current watch version, holding START a bit too long can open the Finish screen. The next watch update in the Connect IQ store makes that much harder to trigger by accident. 3 and 4. Cardio you record in Rack is saved. But the current iPhone version leaves some of it out of your stats and calendar, and a run logged inside a routine is listed in History under that routine's name. The next iPhone update is in Apple's review now. It counts that cardio in your stats, and review usually takes a few days. Could you email support@rackstrength.com? I'd like to dig into the vanishing exercise with you directly, Noah

Great concept, but serious workout tracking issues.

I use Rack with my Garmin Forerunner 965, and I really like the concept of creating workouts and following them directly from my watch.

Unfortunately, I’ve been experiencing several frustrating issues:

1. Exercises and sets sometimes disappear during an active workout. Today, my abdominal exercise disappeared after I completed the first set, before I could start the second.
2. My workout unexpectedly ended or closed before I finished.
3. Cardio activities recorded through Rack are not appearing correctly in my workout history or statistics, even though my Garmin connection is enabled.
4. I’ve checked the app and web version, but I still cannot find the missing cardio records.

I really want to keep using Rack because it has great potential, but these issues make it difficult to trust my workout tracking.

Could you please investigate these problems, especially the Garmin synchronization and missing exercise records?

I would be happy to update my rating to five stars once these issues are resolved.

Great option to Hevy for Garmin Users

I used to use Hevy to log my weight workouts with the Apple Watch companion app until I switched to a Garmin watch. Then I was stuck logging my workouts on both my watch and Hevy since Hevy doesn’t have a Garmin companion app and they have said publicly that they have no intention of supporting Garmin. Luckily I found this app with does the same thing but is for Garmin. Now I can log my workouts on my watch like I used to. Also, you can send your workouts to your watch and log them completely without a phone which you can’t do on Hevy that I know of. A great Hevy / Garmin alternative!

Not to mention, you can import your Hevy workouts into the app so you don’t have to start from scratch!

Response from developer

This is the exact story I hoped to hear Ernie, thank you for taking the time to write it. Coming from a Garmin watch and being stuck double-logging in Hevy was the Rack exists, and I'm really glad the Hevy import let you pick up where you left off instead of starting over. Enjoy logging straight from your watch, and reach out anytime! - Noah

Amazing App — Please Add German Language Support

This app is honestly amazing for strength training and Garmin integration. The analytics, recovery tracking, and workout insights are super well done and easy to use. You can really tell a lot of thought went into the experience.

The only downside for me is that the app is currently not available in German. A German language option would make it perfect. Hopefully this gets added in a future update!

Response from developer

Hi Steff1203, thank you for taking the time to write this, it really matters. German support is something we're actively evaluating, and a public review like yours genuinely moves it up the priority list. Danke for using Rack. Update: Added in the latest version, might not be perfect, but I hope you'll enjoy it!

App terrible

The app will random kick you off, can't get to connect to Strava by far one of the worst strength training app I have used

Response from developer

Hey Wyatt, founder here. The kick-outs shouldn't happen, and that one's on me to fix. If you can email support@rackstrength.com with your watch model and roughly when it crashed, I'll trace the logs and push a fix. Strava is paused right now while I sort out a partner-side issue. It's coming back. Sorry the timing landed on you. Thanks for the honest feedback. I read every reply.
