Fans since 2021

We’ve been leveraging this platform since 2021 to stay all across the world with our kids. It’s our favorite way to travel and experience new places. The app search filters make it very easy to find possible exchanges, and all engagements feel safe and secure. Highly recommend!

Where is the home owner’s review?

Have been struggling to find the review of us as home occupants, even though we received an email to say our recent stay had been reviewed by the home owner, and would be published once we left our review of the exchange (guest points type). Why is it so hard? It used to be easy to find on the website.

Travel,meet new people, and fun!

We are really enjoying this program. We can stay in homes, sometimes get to know the owner and meet people who stay in our second home. Socialization is optional but if you and they choose you can get to know people as well as find people who will stay in your home and treat it as carefully as you treat your own. And it is worldwide. Great way to travel.

Smooth travel experiences

Home Exchange was very easy to use during my travel in Spain and with friends in Sicily last year. All accommodation was very comfortable and safe. Now starting to use on home soil in Australia.

Amazing way to travel

My daughter and I drive across the country using home exchange points. We had an amazing time meeting great people and staying places we wouldn’t normally have gotten to stay. Very excited to host and travel more with home exchange points.

Pretty Damn Amazing

What a great group of people that are on this website. Everyone is very respectful. I’m so happy I found it

The Home Exchange Community is great but the app is not well designed

This is an excellent platform for travel and sharing homes. It really opens up the world for great experiences.
The owners of the Home Exchange platform appear to underinvest in the user experience. The app is clunky to use, slow to load and not ideal for use when travelling. They are not inclined to implement member suggestions or act on feedback from users.

Search functions have limitations

Searching for homes in a specific area with specific dates bring up too many homes that do not fit the search criteria. Very frustrating as you have to scroll through several homes to find this that match your search criteria.

Great Community!

A great program, and great community of Hosts and Guests world wide. We have had a very positive experience both hosting guests in our home, and being able to stay as guests in wonderful homes across the USA, Europe and Asia so far. We’re looking forward to move travel and stays with Home Exchange.

Love Home Exchange

We love this app and especially so, since joining the Collection group of Home Exchange. We have booked properties Australian cities and in Seville, Bordeaux and a month in Galicia Spain. It takes work to contact owners and sometimes we don’t get a reply. However, with perseverance finding beautiful homes in major cities as well as in the country is possible. Everyone has looked after our house very well. Recommended.
