Host protection
I highly suggest a host is able to see any reviews from previous stays from host when there is a booking request and be able to read them. Also should be able to see a pic of the guest that is staying on your property.
App Doesn’t Work
The calendar and pricing functionality is broken on iPhone. Not intuitive. Customer service representatives routinely lie to you. VRBO needs a new product, engineering, and customer service teams.
Airbnb app works. VRBO app doesn’t. They say to use the website on a desktop. I’m over it. I’ll never go back. Not recommended.

This app sucks. It requires you to give your email a phone number. Invading privacy.
Great service
I like Vrbo very much. Reasonable fees and very clearly arranged calendar! Best calendar ever. The only thing I really miss is the ability to transfer a reservation from one house to another (also our house), of course if the customer agrees, without having to go through cancellation
No Renter ratings being shown
Disappointed that VRBO has not been showing me prospective guest ratings. We screen our renters because we have a home with full time residence who have been negatively affected by less considerate guests it would be nice to know what experience other hosts have had so we can make informed decisions before we accept a booking.
