This app is a mess. Most of the time it doesn’t work. I can’t even pay for a renewal. What a joke

I switched from HondaLink to ReLink. My life with my Prologue is better now.
Worst garbage app never works
I’ve opened at least 50 support tickets at this point. Every time, they call back, try software updates, reset the telematics, run through a dozen troubleshooting steps—and nothing ever actually fixes the problem.
The app is incredibly unreliable. You can’t even refresh it to see basic information like remaining mileage. Everything takes forever to load, if it loads at all. Sometimes it works, most of the time it doesn’t.
What makes it worse is how impractical it becomes in real life. On extremely hot or cold days, when you actually need remote start the most, the app fails. That means I have to physically go outside, start the car manually, and leave it unlocked—putting it at risk just because the app can’t do its job.
It’s beyond frustrating. At this point, the app is so unreliable that it honestly makes me question ever buying another Honda. Something this essential shouldn’t be this broken.

App never connects to my prologue. And when it does, it’s so slow and I have no options for remote lock, unlock, horn, climate control or anything.
Bad quality
Pretty terrible app and often inaccurate in terms of vehicle charge. Tesla app is leagues better.

Never works properly. After the last update on July 17/26 I lost access to everything on this app. You think that such reputable company like Honda would keep this app working.

Won’t Refresh
App constantly shows data from hours ago and won’t update even when you click refresh.
Not Updating
The app seem frozen would not show the current state of charge would not show when it’s plugged in and charging would not change the date. make sure the app was updated. No effect. Deleted App and reinstalled everything is gone. Last update is blank. Current stage of charge is blank. Total range is blank. All I have is the recall notice and that’s it.

Most brutal app of all time
This is the worst app can’t even log in
Frustrating
Let me start off by saying that the app as a whole is nice. I like the fact that it tells me the internal temperature when I start it. Great for these hot summer days. The mileage indicator that tells me how far I have to go with the gas I have is nice. Now the downside. And it is a very frustrating one. Every month when I make my payment, it somehow locks me out and I have to contact tech support(who are wonderful) to get back into the app. What it essentially comes down to is uninstalling the app and reinstalling. You would think that this would be figured out and corrected. I don’t know if any else encounters this problem. The tech handling my ongoing case says he has not heard of this before. He said it is a third party developer and Honda really has no control over it. That may well be the case and I do understand, but nonetheless, this would not still be happing ongoing on the 7th month.

Kind of useless
I only installed this app to turn off “data sharing”. It turns out that the annoying screen you see every damned time you start your car is no longer valid - they sunsetted data sharing through the Hondalink Bluetooth connection. That being the case, I decided to keep the app and see if it offered anything. Not really.

The features that is advertised are great but they do not consistently work when you need them to.

More than half the time the app can’t even find the car. It doesn’t refresh the amount of charge it has left. That’s even after that’s even after I have close the app and reopened. It deleted the app and then reopened it. it absolutely befuddles me at a third-party person could build a better app. I really recommend the other app.

2026 Honda Pilot
Love the app. Only wish it will connect a little bit faster. Also do not like that you have to pay for it. If payment is required it should be lower than what it is.
Useless
This app is garbage, I do not need to download the app to know my car model, color, trim or VIN, this data is always there on the registration🫣 I should be able to check vehicle status, mileage, fuel level to plan my rides, when to schedule service, I should be able to start vehicle remotely from app and see its location in real time on the map. Disappointed. It’s 2026, you can not do without app.

Auto opens, otherwise useless
I don’t think it’s common for apps to auto open when you turn your car on. That feels creepy.
Otherwise, all the functionality is hidden behind monthly subscriptions.
