Fails my password creation
Fails your password creation before you even type one in and the only way to try again is send another code and they have some failsafe if you resend in 10 minutes. This isn’t my fkn ssn number it’s only job is keeping my ac at either 69 or 71 degrees. I shouldn’t even need a password. At this point Honeywell is just data harvesting. Don’t buy their thermostat either.
Update: I even went on their website. “account creation successful” and yet I can’t log in on the app. I hope they didn’t pay for it to be made because it’s been a long time since I’ve had this astronomically poor of an experience. Not one function of their system works well.

Create Account
When creating the account and following every step, final selection is to create. When you do so nothing happens. What a waste of time.

This app is worthless and non functional…. Don’t waste your money on a Honeywell thermostat if you plan on using it with a phone app!!!
This app does not allow for you to create an account
I recently purchased a Honeywell Wi-Fi thermostat and downloaded the Honeywell home app to set it up. Unfortunately, the experience has been extremely frustrating. The biggest issue is account creation. The verification passcode either takes an unreasonably long time to arrive or doesn’t come at all. I attempted this process multiple times and it consistently failed or delayed to the point where I had to restart. This makes it nearly impossible to even begin using the product for a device that depends on connectivity… the set up process should be simple and reliable. Instead, it feels outdated and inefficient at this point. I’m stuck with the thermostat I can’t fully use because the app won’t let me get Past the initial set up…very disappointing.
