Horrible late company
These people are always late. By an hour. Every. single. day.
My savior!
We only have one family car and the dreaded anti-parent LATE START schools are doing now was a huge conflict until I heard about HopSkipDrive. How many working parents can wait until 8:45am to get their kids to school? Just insanity! My district has 0 busses and the only option for late start days is an on site daycare that excludes and discriminates against kids who come in to the school after kindergarten. My child started in first grade so they cannot attend the only before school daycare they provide. Can’t get into the daycare even if you’ve been enrolled at the school for years! I would probably be forced into homeschooling if I did not have this service due to the attendance problems that the schools themselves create. This service is extremely valuable and should be implemented everywhere.

Huge help!!!
I was at a real loss for how to manage working and getting my son home from school. We live outside of our school district so there are no school offered busses or other parents going our way. This app has been a lifesaver!! So far we’ve got two rides under our belt and both have gone perfect. Not sure what I was going to do without this app!!

Great drivers, horrible management
Drivers are great people being underpaid by corporate greed. Headquarters in California, always difficult talking to anyone with knowledge and authority to change anything.

I was nervous because my granddaughter is young, but Laura made our first HopSkipDrive experience absolutely perfect. She was early, brought a booster seat, and was incredibly professional. My granddaughter felt safe and comfortable…she said she wants a ride from HSD every day.

Great center for treatment
Highly recommended this place, they take care of the kids really good give them the treatment. They need the stuff really friendly, a professional.
Felt safer
This was our first experience using the service for my oldest daughter, and I felt significantly safer than I would have using a traditional rideshare. As a parent, the added screening and child-focused approach provided a level of comfort and peace of mind that is hard to put a price on.
I especially appreciated Martha quickly accepting the ride after the original driver canceled. She was friendly, professional, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. My daughter arrived safely, and the communication throughout the process was excellent.
My only recommendation for improvement would be to allow parents and riders to view the vehicle’s live location while it is en route to the pickup location. Having the same real-time visibility that many transportation apps provide would make an already great service even better.
Overall, this was a very positive first experience, and I would absolutely use the service again. Thank you, Martha, for taking such good care of my daughter.

I love hop skip drive ! The communication with support and the drivers are top tier ! I never have to worry about my child’s safety because of the gps tracker ! You can follow your child’s location through the app and also communicate with the driver. The drivers are always friendly and on time ! The few technical difficulties I did have within the app I was able to reach out to support to be able to get assistance !! Thank you so much hop skip drive for your services and to the drivers that makes sure our children arrive safely to their destination!!!

Service is great, app not so much
We love having HSD drivers and a trusted service. The app needs some basic usability fixes when setting up and managing rides.
App no easy to log in
You need to update your app and make it easy to log in, otherwise is a good app.

HopSkipDrive service is excellent. Such a safe way to get your children to school plus they’re always on time.
Problem with app
This app is giving me issues I have never had I’m unable to manage my daughter rides it keeps giving an error message never had issues with app up until today and yes the app has been updated and same issues

Never any rides available
I began using this rideshare service based on a recommendation, but it has been a frustrating experience. Out of numerous attempts, I have only secured four rides due to constant driver shortages. The pricing is steep—$18 for less than three miles—and booking in advance does not resolve the availability issues.
After speaking with customer service, I learned that school district students are prioritized, and confirmed private rides may be cancelled to accommodate them. This explains my recent cancellations, which were previously blamed on technical glitches. While other apps are even more expensive, Uber remains a more affordable and reliable alternative. Ultimately, this service has not met my expectations.

Essential but difficult
Provides an essential service. Most drivers are great. The app works well when it works.
It can be VERY hard to set up because of both app limitations and rules set by school districts about who owns the account and therefore who can sign up for and edit rides. My account disappeared several times and i spent months without access to the app. (Somehow getting divorced caused a problem? Or ...? I'm still not sure what the issue was.)
