App Needs Fixing
When I want to look up my details in the app, the app requires a phone or email verification. My wife is the primary so I use my email to receive a temporary code. The problem is, once I switch screens and open my email app on my phone, the insurance app shuts down and asks for another code. As a results, I cannot get in if I use the same device!

Seamless to use
Needs notifications
The only company that only notifies you that your bills are due, when they’re overdue. There aren’t any options to allow notifications on the app and I only ever receive emails when my bill is due on that day (which they process the next day then charge me a late fee) or overdue. They want you to go paperless but don’t want to notify you otherwise.

Terrible app
Set up new account but they never sent text to log in. When we tried to log in again, it says that the email is not registered. When we try to set up as new user, it says email is already registered. So it’s not possible to get in. Terrible App just as others say. Don’t waste your time.
Amazing App
I can pay my bill, access my policy numbers, make a claim, contact my agent and even see my VIN number for each vehicle. Impressive!

App is useless. Can’t get any info. It’s 2022 apps should work. I’m ready to switch to another company
Don’t bother
This app stopped working in 2018 and no one has updated it since. All my policies show expired and canceled! And it never changes. The app is useless. Can’t see your policies, get ID cards or pay a bill. It does absolutely NOTHING!
Terrible App Support
I’ve had a policy with Horace Mann close to 2 years and the app used to work fine.
But, for the last year, I haven’t been able to view my car insurance policy on the app, only on the website. It didn’t bother me at first, but now it’s been almost an entire year. Called support, they basically said “oh yeah we are switching systems over but I can email a copy”. So wait, you’ve been switching systems over for an entire year??? Are they even trying to be competitive? I can view my insurance cards on any other companies app except yours. It’s been a year. Fix it!!!!

There is no information available in this app. It is absolutely useless. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

This app constantly fails. No face ID. No way to add your ID cards to your wallet app. Cannot utilize all functions of website. Very slow and cumbersome. Needs an entire revamp. Useless. Better off to use the website.

Add Apple Pay for Payments & FaceID for easy sign in. Pls update the UI of this app. I rather use my web browser to access my account. SMH

This is the absolute worst app I’ve used. Got my first iPhone in 2007. I’ve built apps professionally. They got everything wrong. Seriously, almost nothing works on this app — and it’s an important one.
2 years since the last update?
Y’all need to update y’all’s app. No wonder I always get error messages trying to log in to the app. It always is failing at the most inconvenient times.
Unfinished app?
Why can’t I view Roth IRA info? That’s the entire reason I downloaded the app! Viewing policies and retirement accounts is the main thing people want to be able to do quickly. This app fails at that- and it wouldn’t even be a hard feature to implement!

I only tolerate Horace Mann to take advantage of a company match on a 403b at work... otherwise, I would take my business and money elsewhere.

Why can’t I see my Roth IRA and 403B total amounts in my accounts?
I don’t understand why I can see my car insurance details but not these two accounts’ details. The old app let me see how much were in them.
This is 2020.
I can’t believe in the year 2020, you offer a Svc app that doesn’t allow acct payments, the website doesn’t show all the accts, & I have to call an 800 number to post a payment. Pull back on the unnecessary bells & whistles for programs and modernize the app.

I cannot get past the “ongoing maintenance “ announcement. Zero functionality.
