LOST DATA
Lost 2 months of invoices, hours and sent multiple emails and no answer from support. I would NOT recommend at all! It worked good for a couple years but now I cant trust it i keep writing notes on paper incase it looses data again and that shouldn't be the case especially when I paid a membership.
Needs to fixe bugs
Still using rn but past three months has been screwing up my times and not logging out when it should and crashing

I have loved and used this app for years. Now with the latest update, I’m struggling to get logged in to find my historical data. I’ve reached out to customer support twice with no response. Now looking for a different app I can learn to love that deserves my loyalty.
Not doing the job
Lately it’s not remembering that i clocked in and or out. Kinda defeats the purpose.

As others have said, your data will very likely get randomly deleted. As did mine.
Quite literally, this app can’t do it’s one job: keeping track of your hours.
One day I just opened the app like normal, and it was stuck at a log-in screen and would repeatedly say “something went wrong” upon trying to log-in.
After updating the app, everything was gone. Which is obviously not acceptable for an app that is supposed to track of when and how much you’re paid.
If you need to keep track of your time, writing it down in the notes app would be better than using this. I really wish this review was an exaggeration, but it’s not. Please do not waste time and possibly risk losing hundreds of dollars over a dysfunctional app like this. The little convenience it occasionally provides is not worth it.

Horrible customer service
Tried for a week and a half send emails to support and no answer will be looking for new app been with this app since 2018. Not good
No response from company
Emailed a few times to get help, as the app is doubling up,deleting information randomly, and not preforming well anymore. Was great for 2 years. No response till a few weeks later. On the hunt for a new reliable app - not housekeeper 😕
Impossible to reset password
I purchased the premium version of Hours Keeper and after updating I was forced to login again. My password was not accepted and the reset process did not work. Worst of all, the email address for support is an valid. As a result I can no longer use the app and lost critical data.
Great to use
Simple and exactly what I need
Logged me out and deleted all hours. - Premium subscription
I purchased the premium subscription and have been using it for 6 months. Just booted me out today and can get back any of my saved hours for 3 different clients!!! Reading other reviews someone had this same issue. So much for bug fixing. I recommend finding a more reliable app.
Just lost years of punches
Omg, several years of important punches just went missing. Emailed support and not getting any response. This is a nightmare
Lost data - doesn’t email invoices
I’ve used this app for years to manage my private lesson invoices. It was never the fanciest app, and it could be a little clunky at times, but it was reliable, easy to use, and the reporting features worked well.
I hadn’t used it for a few months, and whatever update happened (or whoever took it over) has made it virtually unusable. All of my previous client information is gone. I tried recreating my clients and sending new invoices, only to discover that the emails never actually send. The app acts like they’ve been sent, but nothing is delivered and there are no error messages or notifications.
I’m incredibly disappointed. Before these changes, I would have happily given this app 4 stars. Now, with basic functionality no longer working, it’s unfortunately become completely useless.

Use to be great
Use to be an amazing update doesn’t work at all just sits loading. Tried downloading on my other phone still doesn’t work
Nice when it works, frustrating when it locks up and loses all your data.
I’ve used it for probably 5-6 years, and now twice within the last year it has locked up stuck on the loading screen and lost all data, like others have stated, uninstalling and reinstalling does not help.
Was good untill it deleted 7 months of work that hasn’t been concluded yet.
This app was really good, I have used it for a long time. Then today I was logged out and told I needed to sign in to polycents products to access hours keeper. I had to reset my password 3 times, it kept saying log in failed! Try again latter.
2 hours latter I got in but all my data is gone. I have tried to contact the provider but I have had no luck.
I’m so disappointed. 7 months of work that hasn’t been concluded gone. It had a restore data option and when I pressed that it said it didn’t recognize me as a user and that I may have been deleted. WTF

Started to bug out after years of working fine
The app last week logged me out and then when I logged back in, the app is showing invoices that were already paid as being unpaid and also invoices that were created and are pending are not showing up, really frustrating and disappointing
Works great until it doesn’t and then you’re screwed
Never had a problem till their latest update July 2026. (Updates are automatic) I can no longer get into the app. I’ve tried everything and now i have lost All my data including my Un billed hours for this month. They are based in China and reading online ppl who have tried contacting them NEVER got a response.

Slowest app on earth
Contacted multiple times and I’ve used this app for 10 years. All of a sudden about a year ago it takes 30-60 seconds to load or respond to anything you touch. Luckily I haven’t needed this app as much but now it’s useless
