Good quality and great designs, but the app is clunky

As a person who lives overseas and gets subjected to brands with twice or thrice the pricing, the quality and designs of their clothes are top notch. I had, on multiple occasions, got approached by people asking me where I bought the clothes which I think says a lot about what House of Rare is doing right. But unfortunately, their app feels like an imitation of their website. It feels clunky, I had a couple drop offs, and the payment portal doesn’t feel right. I prefer if you guys worked on it, cleaned it up a little and make it feel more like an app and less like a website?

Bugs and worst customer care

I had 1300 points. I tried to redeem before I could pay, the app reloaded. And now when I tried again, the points were gone. The history? It shows nothing. This has happened 2-3 times now. And these people don’t seem to care. Because why do that. And the customer care? Worse. They just didn’t respond to email and close the ticket on their own!!! How can it get worse? They have nothing but to make customer life worse. I have been a loyal customer ever since this company started. But have to give it, their customer care is the pathetic.

Subject: App Performance Issues and Cart Handling for Sold-Out Items

We noticed significant latency issues in the app. The experience is currently very slow, especially while selecting items and placing orders, which impacts usability.

Another issue observed is related to cart behavior:

* When an item added to the cart becomes sold out, the app currently removes it silently from the cart.
* Instead, there should be a clear message, warning, or visual highlight indicating that the item is no longer available or has gone out of stock.

Suggested improvement:

* Keep the item visible in the cart with an “Out of Stock” label or disabled state.
* Show a notification/toast informing the user that the item is no longer available before checkout.

Please prioritize fixing the latency/performance issues along with improving the cart experience for sold-out items.

Extremely disappointing experience with Rare Rabbit

Ordered a shirt for a festival, but it never arrived on time. The worst part? It took them over a week just to inform me that the product failed QC. By then, it was too late to make any alternative arrangements.

Poor communication and lack of accountability completely ruined the experience. You expect better from a brand like this.

Would not recommend if you’re ordering for any time-sensitive occasion. Hoping the team takes this seriously and improves both delivery timelines and customer communication.

Unfair Return/Exchange Means

Extremely poor and misleading experience with Rare Rabbit. I ordered a T-shirt that didn’t fit, and their exchange policy is highly restrictive and unfair. The app only allows exchanges with a few selected items—most of which are priced higher—forcing customers to pay extra even after full payment.

This appears to be a deceptive practice and against basic consumer rights. Customers should not be compelled to spend more money just to exchange a product. Either provide a fair, unrestricted exchange policy or issue a full refund.

If this is not resolved, I will be forced to escalate the matter to consumer grievance authorities.

Bad bad bad service

Are you guys serious? What kind of service you guys provide. Taking away all our money and if you guys cannot provide product why do you have to keep the brand. Pathetic service. Never going to buy anything from this brand anymore and I feel shamed to call it as brand. Even nonbrand vendors are more authentic than you people.
I ordered two shirt and I had to exchange for different size and it’s been almost 15days no response from anyone. No call is getting connected to the customer centre. What the hell service you people provide

Beware: Looks Premium, Quality Isn’t

Extremely disappointed with Rare Rabbit’s product quality and customer service.

I recently purchased 4 products from Rare Rabbit, and 2 of them turned out to be defective.
• One product started bleeding colour just on contact with water — it wasn’t even washed.
• Another shrunk from size 46 to 42 after a normal wash.

When I reported these issues, the brand kept repeating that my complaint was “beyond their 1-month post-wash policy,” completely ignoring the fact that these are clear manufacturing defects, not customer misuse.

It’s shocking that a so-called premium fashion brand takes no accountability for defective products once a month passes, even when the fault is clearly on their end.

I was a loyal customer and trusted Rare Rabbit for its design and style, but after this experience and their poor handling of a genuine complaint, I’ll definitely think twice before purchasing again.

Rare Rabbit seriously needs to improve product quality and customer ethics if they want to maintain their reputation.

Missing items reported with proof, still denied — never ordering again.

My experience with Rare Rabbit was appalling. My parcel arrived with missing items — I was travelling and only opened it 3 days later, yet they hide behind a ridiculous “24-hour” policy and refused any help. I even sent clear video proof of the delivered package, but they denied refund or replacement without explanation. This isn’t customer service — it’s a shrug and a refusal to take responsibility. Do not trust Rare Rabbit with your orders unless they fix this attitude and start treating customers fairly.
For a premium brand, this behaviour is really disappointing. I expected basic customer service, not excuses.

Disabling background running music app

I have observed this while browsing through the app today, if music is playing in the background on any app be it Apple Music or Spotify, when rare app is on the foreground it is disabling/ pausing the music.

Poor Online Service, Better Buy Offline

The clothes are really good in quality, but the online service is pathetic. It’s been more than a month and I still haven’t got my refund. Every time I call, customer care just reads a script and does nothing to solve the issue. Even deliveries are late. I’d suggest buying from the offline store instead of online. If this is the case in Bangalore, imagine how bad it would be in smaller towns—just feels like a waste of money.

Pathetic app

This application is an absolute piece of junk and I suggest everyone not to use it ever. They have good products but use other platforms like myntra or in-store purchases. Below are my experience of using this app.

- There is no guarantee that your products will actually get delivered. One of my order is still pending for more than 10 days, and I am finding a hard time to get in touch with the team. There is no response. The order hasn’t even been packed yet. It would be safe to say this company has done a fraud and stole my money.

- No support whatsoever. Assume that once you have purchased something you won’t be able to return, or replace it.

- The app hangs frequently. Most of the time it’ll automatically crach and restart. You’ll loose all your progress. Whatever you were viewing, history, hours of efforts, all gone.

Gravely Disappointed with the delivery and quality of product 😡🤬

MY RARE RABBIT EXPERIENCE
I had placed an order(shoes) on the 10th of August and the estimated delivery date according to their website was the 13th of August. However, my order was delivered after 10 days only after constantly following up with support without any proactive communication from them about the delay. My experience was even more disappointing after unboxing the product (shoes) only to realise that the quality of the product was sub-normal with cracks and some patch work done on the product. When I tried exchanging the product, the support team told me that the exchange won’t be possible because the product is out of stock — this makes me wonder if I was handed a discarded product for the sake of delivery. If MAKE IN INDIA brands like RARE RABBIT cannot even commit to timely deliveries, for a first customer like me, I cannot recommend this brand to anyone if you are ordering from their website because their logistics is pathetic and their support team incompetent. Will be discarding any thoughts of buying from this brand and rely on other Make In India brands who have got their logistics game right in this fast paced era.

Too many bugs and no customer service

Better to shop in-store. I cannot see my recent purchases. Exchanges are a hassle since there is no status shown on the app. Items which can’t be returned need to be exchange paying the difference amount. Once the transaction is done, it is not shown anywhere that the item was processed for exchange. The customer service is a chatbot that is useless. In the rare event you get treach an actual agent, they deny any request for exchange and do not refund the difference paid nor the item cost. Pathetic app, 100% recommended to shop in-store.

Disappointing

I’m extremely disappointed with the service. I tried cancelling my order multiple times (at least 2-3 times) through email before it was delivered, yet it was delivered anyway. Now, the app only shows an exchange option, not return — which is frustrating since I clearly tried to cancel it in time.

To make it worse, I have more orders currently in transit that I want to cancel immediately, but there is no proper way to do it. There’s no proper customer support response either. This experience has been really frustrating and I’m seriously reconsidering placing any future orders here.

Dead stock pieces and quality check failed

I have been loyal customer always visiting store, this time I was in hurry and preordered the clothes from the app. All the clothes were having very bad quality, even in terms of fitting, like the shoulder stitching are tighter compared to the rest part of shirts. Been having knowledge of clothing brands, it clearly that the dead stock and QC failed clothes are delivered and there is no way to contact the team.

Worst customer care

I got a premium shirt for INR3,500 , Once the product has got manufacturing defects I decided to return but I can’t and no one is replying to my mail also , Very worst app rather please order from other sites like Myntra at least you can exchange and return.

Not user friendly at all

I had to do an exchange of two items in my order, the process itself is so tiresome. The image upload crashes the app, the Razorpay method doesn’t allow you to pay via Wallet or UPI ID. On the fourth try, i was able to pay via card, but the screen froze after money deduction. The return request did not get processed. Overall a very bad application to use.

Beautiful App but misses on some basic functionality

The app experience is a hit or miss while the app is aesthetically pleasing it lacks functional needs like tracking your previous order, cancelling order you have to login separately to an external window in order to do that so technically its just a mbile website packaged in an app

Worst dispatch time

Order dispatch is taking forever. And even worse is the cancellation method , the customer support won’t com online even after waiting for 20 mins. Chat bit makes us wait for forever to cancel the order. Even after 10 days order is neither dispatched not cancelled and my money is stuck with these guys.

Fraud app

Don’t purchase anything from this app , I order on 4th December and I pay the full amount but still not getting my order or payment . These people are fraud I also complain through mail but these fraud people only told me to wait now it’s been 14 days but no proper response . So please don’t purchase from this app or this company . Now it’s your choice .
