Can’t Edit Client’s Address in the iOS App
Sometimes you only discover the problem after driving to the wrong address. Then you may have to drive another 40 minutes to the correct location. In the mobile app, the only option may be to delete the job and create it again, which can also remove important information such as photos, payments, notes, and other job details.
Yes, the address can be changed through the web browser, but field technicians rely on the mobile app while working. The browser version and the iOS app should have the same basic workflow and functionality.
Editing a service address is a basic and essential feature for any field service application. Housecall Pro should add this option to the iOS app as soon as possible.

Yee Yee
The very best
HCP —-> Think… then fix it. My criticism is constructive and valid!
A fair number of companies operate in RURAL areas- often there is little to no cell service!
1. When I arrive to the job and press ‘start my time’… just LOG my start time in the app, don’t time out on me and make it look like I didn’t start my job On Time! (When I do finally have cell service, you can update the system!) <— not difficult to design in your app.
2. Great, I finished my job… (sometimes it will let me start, but not finish a job… which assigns more time to the job and makes it look like I spent too much time on the job. AGAIN, same as point number 1. Just log it on my app and update the server when I do have cell service.
3. Yes, my job is finished… time to go to the next job. I pull up my schedule and it’s blank… WHY?!
Because I have little to no cell service, HCP, in their infinite wisdom made all my jobs disappear!! Good luck figuring out where to go for your next job!!!
AGAIN, if I have little to no cell service, don’t make my jobs disappear in an attempt to update my schedule. My jobs should ALWAYS be visible!!
This is also easy to design.
BTW, HCP does this in case there a change in your schedule, but it’s worse to have all my jobs disappear than to have a schedule change not noted. It just doesn’t work good in Rural areas.
Simplicity of dispatch
wow
Do not use….
The worst part is that switching to another platform is not a simple process once you’re invested. Think carefully before choosing this app—you may find yourself stuck with a product that creates more problems than it solves.
