Awful
App is awful and always has been. Fix the login already. Every month I have to change my password because i save it to my passwords and then suddenly it’s the wrong password. And then Face ID also stops working? Use the money you take out of my acct every month and build a working app.
Works but has issues
You can find out what you need to know but you have to work for it. The main dashboard should total your total balance with and without investment money but does not. It is left for you to go to different sections of the app and add them together yourself if that’s something you want to do.
Also a big problem is when you are using Face ID ….at least from an iPhone 12 when you log out, it automatically tries to re scan your face and log in. I believe this is causing the most pain in the butt part of the app…..which is a few days or even the next day you go to log in and the the Face ID is disabled and you have to constantly re-setup Face ID.
Even when you set up Face ID, the process has issues. You have to log manually to set up which is expected, but then when you hit the buttons to set up Face ID it makes you log in manually again…WHY? You just did that to get to that screen.
Like I said the app works but you yourself feel like you are constantly working to use it.

They fixed the face ID issue. Now, if only it didn’t require 2FA… The face token should be enough At least it is for all my other bank apps.

Entered UN and PW; it just hangs on the preloader and goes no further. Useless. Uninstalled.
Horrible personal banking transaction history requirement
Really disappointing to learn what’s required in order to set up direct reimbursement with your bank. HSA Bank requires you to share the banking and all transaction history with them via their data service provider just to process a direct deposit for expense reimbursement. Thats right, the entire “transaction history” from your connected bank. This means EVERY account associated with your bank login. Under any circumstances does HSA Bank need your account transaction history to process a deposit. This is a bad violation of personal privacy. After speaking with their customer service department they do not offer a manual work around to prevent this type of personal intrusion and didn’t even care about the concern I raised.

Horribly buggy app
First off HSA Bank is terrible all around b/c it’s actual users are captives, they have no choice in which bank their HSA account is at; all the decisions are made by their employer or employer’s benefits provider. Because the users have zero control, HSA Bank thinks, nay it *knows* that it can cheap out on the app and deliver a horrible, buggy experience and never completely fix it. On my iPhone 16 Pro Max, when I go to any page after logging in, the top menu bar shrinks and hides behind the battery indicator and clock where I can’t tap it. Then I have to force quit the app and log in again. It’s utter trash!

Can’t login
I tried the app and website to login and just keeps spinning trying to load
No returns data!!!
This is a basic app that’s needs work. Investments don’t have charts? No % returns? Nothing. Logging in with multiple accounts is trash, faceid doesn’t work between spouse accounts. Try logging out and faceid forces you right back in. This app needs so much work. So so bad.
Menu shifts too high to function
App works ok. But once you use something in the menu, the ui shifts up into the top of the screen to a point that makes it unusable on iOS.

Do not do the latest update it is garbage
On the Apple phone the begin chat button is on top of the submit button. Making it almost impossible to submit a claim. This must of been done by a third grader.
Not very good
Recent updates to this app have caused it to function poorly. The menu button is difficult to access to move around in the app and to log out. Please improve this poorly functioning app.
