What happened?
I have had this app for 4.5 years and for the last 6 months it’s been very inconsistent. Glitches galore!!

I love hitting a row each day and having someone to encourage me to give it my all.

Helpful companion to the Hydrow rower
The app is a great companion to the amazing Hydrow rower. Especially for those days when I’m away from my Hydrow and want a short exercise video via the app.
Basic feature missing
Cable came out in the middle of a workout. Tried to quickly turn everything back on to get back at it, but the video I was following was nowhere to be found. There’s no way to continue what you were already doing!! Such a basic feature that’s missing. Very disappointing.

Great app but needs some bugs worked out. If casting to a tv, you cannot see stats, even on original device, as it gets greyed out. Also while casting, if a notification comes through, everything just stops. Watching solely on device works flawlessly and instructors and scenery are fantastic.
Almost perfect
Love this company, the variety of workouts, and the app. The only thing missing is the ability to search by keyword. That would make it over the top!
Lackluster support
The smart recommendations feature died coincidentally with the last app update. I reached out, and although it took a free tries, the smart recommendations finally returned. No real explanations from support but at least the issue was resolved. I still think hydrow needs to improve their support.

The smart recommendations feature died coincidentally with the last app update. I reached out to support who mansplained to me that it no longer provided recommendations because it was still busy calculating how my body reacted. That was 3 days ago and still no recommendations.
I’ve tried many …
I’ve tried many exercise devices to motivate myself to get in shape. I signed up for a Hydrow machine to see if that would work and I totally love the video coaching and the quality. It’s been so great that in the past 45 days I’ve been rolling on over 2/3 of those days.
Pretty cool
So far it’s really helping me meet my fitness goals. Decent interface, mostly
intuitive. One thing that’s odd: You can’t manage your account from the app. I had to start my subscription from the machine. Kinda dumb. Decent otherwise.

Convenient
This comes in handy when we are on vacation or if my HYDROW is not connecting to our internet
Foundation
It is the foundation to my fitness comeback. Their coaches keep you going.
Excited About More Stats
Excited to see how the new hydrometrics work. I love seeing the numbers, it’s what I’ve wanted to get more of and here we are! Still would love more graphs but I’ll take this win😊
Previous Review: I love my hydrow!!! I enjoy the app but I wish I could search for classes more easily and I really wish there was more analytics. I’d love to see my yearly stats or be able to view my streaks further back than the 30 days shown. Also it would be so cool to a histogram of rhythm and meters throughout a workout. A girl can dream!

Everyday I find a workout , long distance , short splits , circuits , yoga , etc … Pete is my man !
Hydrow was my rehab after an open heart surgery… the best ! I’m 71 and plan to keep rowing and moving , and lifting till I can’t !

Full Body Workout!
Hydrow has been the best machine I have ever purchased/used! I LOVE it! My body has transformed using it and given me better fitness! It’s a full body machine and uses 86% of your muscles and is lower impact on joints! But there’s more…You get to row and learning from current & former professional athletes. It’s not just a rowing machine; if also offers mobility, stretching, yoga, Pilates and programs for runners. And…the fabulous locations they travel to will inspire you; as a result I have travel to some to see in person. The incentives for milestone meters are great also, good quality and functional. This is also the smooth motion I have ever experienced on any rowing machine!

I love Hydrow it is easy to use you choose your own program and see what you have achieved . It improves cardio fitness very quickly .
Great investment.
I’ve been using this rowing machine for over three years. It’s an excellent way to get your whole body going in an efficient amount of time. Plus you can do Pilates, and yoga if that’s your thing. Best exercise investment I’ve ever made.

I love my Hydro. I tried to get on my Hydro at least six days a week. It starts off my day tremendously and lately last two weeks. I have actually gone out to Road River here in Gold Beach Oregon and I get on my. Canoe I haven’t done that in 3 1/2 years.
