Misleading advertising

The ad says there’s a free credit for new customers, which is misleading and false information. So then I bought some credit and tried to call Indian phone numbers. It never worked for any landline numbers. Upon contacting the customer service they asked me to wait for few hours and try again later. Anyone thinking about this app, don’t even bother, it’s not going to work.

Звонки в турцию работают через впн

С использованием впн прекрасно дозвонился до турецкого номера поддержки банка. Связь была отличная, без задержек, без прерываний. Стоимость составила 0,34$ за 7 минут. Буду пользоваться дальше.

Это развод. Нет прозрачных тарифов. Написано что звонки на городской номер от 0.08$. В реальности 0.27$. Когда в поддержке спрашиваешь, а какой регион за 0.08$ ответа нет… вернула деньги через спор при помощи своего банка

Здравствуйте! Нам очень жаль, что поддержка не ответила на ваш вопрос. Мы никого не вводим в заблуждение. Стоимость от $0.08/мин действует для звонков на номера с префиксом +7 800 (горячие линии). Для остальных направлений стоимость выше и зависит от конкретной сети. Точная цена для конкретного номера всегда отображается до начала звонка, поэтому пользователь заранее знает, сколько будет стоить минута разговора.

Waste of time. Usless

To sign up you need a working phone number that can receive texts. I'm currently traveling and just need to call a usa number. My phone doesn't work cause I'm out of the usa. This is totally useless! Like how about another form of verification? Imessage? Whatsapp? Upload and id? Nope, they don't offer any other option. If I had a working phone number I would just use that instead of a useless voip app.

Hello, Phone number verification is a standard requirement for calling apps and is needed for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance. Yolla does not provide a virtual phone number and we do not advertise that the app can be used without an active SIM card. If you verify your number before traveling, you can use Yolla abroad to call regular mobile and landline numbers. We’re sorry the app did not match your expectations, but this requirement is part of how the service works.

Delay

It worked very well before but at some point a 1-2 sec delay started happening. Why?

Price deception

They make it quite easy for you to make the wrong purchases and in some cases, blatantly misleading. resulting in you having to pay more than you expect. Not cool.

Now I understand the app better (actually theres nothing to ‘understand’ as it’s extremely straightforward) its simple very cheap and, so far, reliable and a worthy replacement for skype.
So my initial 4stars emphatically replaced by 5 !
