Surprisingly unreliable mix of software and hardware
Not as practical as it seems
4 hours in deep network settings
Hub barely functions
Requires Dirigera
Fix Google Home integration
Can’t seem to pair remotes
The app is very buggy. For example when you try and add a remote, it finds the product successfully. You scan the QR code and then after you've set it up it pretty much just stays on this screen that says it's time to join your home. You basically have to start over again and again and again and again. You're better off buying Samsung SmartThings or FLIC

Don’t bother
Patience pays off
I didn’t expect the setup process to be without issues considering the provenance of my bridge and bulb, and I wasn’t wrong. Setup took several tries, but did eventually succeed after a bit of repetition and process refinement. My advice to others is a failure doesn’t mean it’s broken or you did anything wrong, it just does that sometimes, even if you get all the steps right. Patience pays off with this equipment.
Funktioniert
Einzig was ich noch verbessern und mir wünschen würde, wär bei der Stromverbrauchszählung das man den kWh Preis eintragen kann und somit der Verbrauchte Strom gleich in Euro usw. angezeigt wird.
Almost Perfect
The sensors have the ability to visually notify with turning lights on or off, along with app notifications. It is great for those who need visual cues but it is not consistent across all sensors. Water sensors being an example. For people who are hard of hearing, it is somewhat useful but being able to choose the color of the light activation based on the sensor would be much better. It would reduce the need to check the app if you received a lighting cue.
Obviously, people also want to use the door/window sensor to activate threshold lighting when opening a door. The problem lies in the fact they trigger 24/7. As of now, they are not really useful for lighting, as no one wants to turn off lights in the middle of the day every time a door is opened. They need the ability to schedule triggering events like their motion sensors provide. With the default app notification always active, not needing to be scheduled.
A final suggestion would be to also incorporate the use of "Scenes" based on a sensor being triggered. Not that it is usually needed but it would definitely put IKEA in the lead for smart home design.

De plus les graphiques de suivi ne fonctionnent pas.
L’appli est à revoir car du coup j’ai des problèmes d’humidité que l’application ne relève pas!
Response from developer
Hej! Thank you for reaching out! When we enabled Matter, we also changed how to integrate DIRIGERA into other ecosystems. For Zigbee devices please use Matter bridge functionality. Select add product in your target ecosystem app and then scan/copy the code you get when you enable Matter bridge functionality into IKEA Home smart app./IKEA Home smart
Does not support Google Home - No tech help
The app only lets you generate a code which Google home does not process. I have phoned Ikea support who didn’t know how to fix it. I went into store and an employee had absolutely no idea what I was taking about even though I was showing him video recordings of the app. He took my number for another employee to call me but they never did. There is never anybody in the lighting section to help.
Overall I have 10 around 10 devices connected and controllable in the IKEA Home Smart App but it is not possible to link with Google home (which was a very important feature for me).
