"My experience with Muthoot Finance has been extremely disappointing. I took a personal loan from them, but their customer service is terrible. Whenever I try to contact them regarding a need or query, they never bother to call back or provide a proper response. They have zero respect for their customers' time or needs. On top of this, their interest rates are unreasonably high. The eagerness they show when issuing the loan completely disappears when you actually need support. Because of the excessive interest rates and highly irresponsible customer service, I strongly do not recommend this institution to anyone."

Ridiculous app and company strategy
This app is designed in such a away that you should face a lot trouble in repaying the loan so that you end up paying interest more.
It show thousands of errors while making payments.
You cannot make payments twice. Either you pay interest or you pay principal- for principle you cannot make one shot payments on same day, you will be givein limit to pay. If You make a payment today, tomorrow it will show u errors in redirecting to the same payment method ao that your loan payment should not take place, it will not connect you to the bank page. Ridiculous rule and app designed to ensure people get frustrated and donot end up repaying thw loan quickkly and somehow they end up getting money. It doesnt show upi options to Mac isers so that they ens up opting for other payment options.

App Performance
This app is literally junk. Almost everytime I opens it is shows some technical issues. Instead of implementing new features in app firstly you guys have to resolve its basic functionality. In 4.8.0 version it is showing that my device is connected to some wifi while my device is not even connected to any wifi ,I tried to reinstall it many time but this version has some issues fix this as soon as possible and try to make the app stable instead of so many new features.

The App doesn’t Open - No options any longer to pay via UPI
iMuthoot App doesn’t work for me. It just says “You are connected to unsecured WiFi network”. All my Banking Apps works and all my Work Related Apps works which has even more security restrictions.
Previously repaying was easier, with UPI available directly on the App, now that is also not available. Have to go through some GPay account a customer care executive provided and that only allows you to repay the interest amount, not partial or full payment.
I get so many marketing calls from the company and when I highlight these existing issues, they will be like “Oh for that you need to contact that other team as they handle it and we just called you to inform this”!!! Why call someone for new offers if you don’t know about your existing customer experience and not able to resolve them or direct the complaint to the relevant team. Very very disappointed.

Very Unprofessional Moga (Punjab) Branch
Extremely disappointing experience with Muthoot Finance Moga City Branch (Punjab). We visited the branch continuously for 4–5 days to repay our gold loan and retrieve our pledged gold, but the staff and Branch Manager were reluctant to even accept the payment and release the gold ornaments.
The behaviour of the Branch Manager, Mr. Akashdeep Singh, and staff was highly unprofessional, rude, and insensitive. Customers are treated like a burden rather than valued clients. Shockingly, they openly said “do whatever you want, mail anyone, we are not afraid or accountable.”
