Great product

Absolutely love my InPen!! BUT, will you please change the long acting dose settings! Having it at a max of two doses a day is troublesome especially when there’s people like me who take long acting 3X a day

Inpen app

I love my Inpen and the app. I bought a new iPhone and the app didn’t transfer from old phone to the new phone. I can’t make contact, get an answer when I call the company about how to move and properly set the app up on new phone. I’m on hold forever waiting for a representative to answer my call! I need help to do this. Where is customer service technical support? Help me!

Freezes and crashes

InPen is amazing. The app used to be amazing. Over the past year with Medtronic it has gone to garbage. Now it constantly freezes, crashes and takes forever to load. This needs to be fixed. iPhone 17 with latest iOS.

HEY! We need the widget asap!

Update the app and support the Lock Screen widget! It’s not that hard. The data to sync to the widget is deterministic so it should be quite simple to do. Now for over a whole year you’ve ignored this most critical feature

Great product

Absolutely love my InPen!! Makes things so much easier when giving doses of insulin and I love how it calculates my dose. One thing I’d love to see changed is the dosing of long acting insulins. The app only gives you the option of two doses a per day, as I am given three doses per day, I’d love to see the option to have reminders for three times a day. But other then that I am extremely happy with this product and I will definitely continue using it for years to come

FAQ

What does the InPen app do?

The InPen app works with the InPen smart insulin pen to automatically track your insulin doses. It provides personalized insulin recommendations based on your current glucose level, meal size, and the amount of insulin still active from previous injections. The app also helps you avoid dangerous lows and frustrating highs by accounting for active insulin and offering reminders.

What are the key features of the InPen app?

Key features include automatic recording of every insulin dose, synchronization with CGM data (Medtronic and Dexcom) and Apple Health integrated BG meters, personalized dose recommendations, carb counting, meal estimation, and fixed dose modes. It also offers reminders for missed doses and alerts for insulin temperature.

How much does the InPen app cost?

The InPen app is free to download and use. However, it requires the InPen smart insulin pen, which supports specific insulin cartridges (Lilly Humalog®, NovoLog®, and Fiasp®) and is sold separately. The app unlocks its full functionality, including the dose calculator and active insulin tracking, when paired with the smart pen.

What devices is the InPen app compatible with?

The InPen app is designed to work with the InPen smart insulin pen. It can sync data from Medtronic CGM, Dexcom CGM, and Apple Health integrated BG meters. The app itself is available for mobile devices, and the smart pen supports specific insulin cartridges.

Who would benefit from using the InPen app?

Individuals with diabetes who use insulin pens can benefit from the InPen app. It is particularly helpful for those who want to ensure they are taking the correct amount of insulin at the right time, reduce the stress of insulin stacking or under-dosing, and gain a better understanding of how insulin and meals affect their glucose levels.
