8/7/2026 Update Badly FLAWED

The app was fine until today’s update, which OBLITERATED the Digital Glovebox and Owner’s Manual. No matter which link you click, they all launch “Watch and Learn.” Please fix this, as otherwise the app is definitely helpful

Wow

So awesome what I can do!!

Poor reliability

75% of the time, the app times out before it completes the action. It takes longer to lock the doors from the app than it would take to physically walk back to my car.

Keep app

I post for the Jeep app but it is very slow to open. It takes about 30 seconds. I also find when I send a location to the Jeep it doesn’t go. It would be nice, since you pay for the app, to be able open the doors, start the Jeep and use drive without the keys

As of today, August 10, this app does not work at all. You need to fix something.

Nice App

Everything You Need for Your Jeep At Your Fingertips!

Loving it

First time Jeep owner. Never thought I would be a Jeep owner. It’s fun. The app helps a lot when my children use for errands, movie nights, etc. I can remote start almost from anywhere. Very useful last winter. The app reminds me to check for maintenance, very handy when you’re kind of busy. I enjoy it.

BUGGY

App is super buggy after the last 2 updates

Slow buggy garbage

This app is painfully slow to load. It constantly loses its setting to enable FaceID for PIN to start the vehicle and also loses its login info and FaceID setting to login to the app itself when it opens.

It doesn’t have any way to see whether the vehicle is currently locked or unlocked. On a hot day, a start command sent to the (black appearance) Jeep may not actually succeed until I’ve left my office, taken the elevator, left the building, and walked to within a few feet of the vehicle.

The fuel indicator in the app is almost always hours if not a day or more out of sync.

And then Jeep has the audacity to charge for most of the (limited and buggy) functionality.

Compared to other manufacturers’ Apps: Sub Par

I’m honestly disappointed with the JEEP app. I previously owned a Ford Ranger and the Ford app was far more polished and useful. It made it easy to view important information like year, make, model, and VIN, along with other details about the vehicle.

The JEEP app feels outdated in comparison. Remote start frequently fails and lags significantly, which is frustrating is it is the primary feature to use.

I also don’t understand why the primary feature is simply finding a local dealership. I’d much rather have quick access MY vehicle information- specifications, maintenance history, service reminders, fuel level, tire, pressure, warranty, etc.

The app has a lot of them for improvement.

Too Slow

That app starts too slow and takes way too long to start the car and unlock it.

Retired teacher

I love it always use just to make sure it’s locked 🙏🏼❤️

Minor Changes Needed

The app works without issues but it would be great if Face ID worked instead of using a code to unlock/lock/start/etc. Also, it allows you to move the buttons so you can select what is available on the main screen but seems like every month, it goes back to the preset options.

Jeep App

Love it

Possibly The Worst App Ever

Terrible. Totally useless. App is never synced up with the vehicles (example: fuel and charge level). It also shows warning lights in the app that are not currently displayed on the vehicle itself. You call support to have them removed and they can’t figure it out how to do it. So they are just on permanently in the app. This is true with both my 2023 and 2024 Grand Cherokee. Not a lot of features to speak of in the app itself- except locking and unlocking the vehicle. They should put this version of the app in the garbage and start over from scratch. Or better yet, I probably just shouldn’t buy anymore Jeeps.

Excellent app

Worst app of any car I have ever seen

This app sucks. I wouldn’t suggest paying for it as it hardly ever works. Half the time the paid services don’t even appear on the app.

Another Day in Paradise

Love the accessibility of starting/locking and any reports I may need on my jeep!🩷

Needs More

My wife recently got a Kia and their app absolutely blows this one out of the water. Not only does their app have way more features and options, when I got my 24 GC, I received the app for 3 months. She gets her for the entirety of her 3 year lease!

Multiple Issues

The latest app update means Face ID is not working properly now. It keeps turning itself off and asking for a PIN, and I keep having to turn Face ID back on in the settings. So that’s a new issue.

Map updates in my actual vehicle U-Connect system are stuck as well. It keeps wanting to update over Wi-Fi. Why? I am paying for a Hotspot with my vehicle so why can’t it automatically use that and update the maps in the background?!? Pretty ridiculous.

Needs to be fixed and updated more regularly for what we are all paying.
