They don’t care about pros and customers.
I was working as a pro for GP quite some time and then what I realized for the smaller jobs. Maybe it’s not a big deal but when you get larger work, they charge 30% on top of the Handy Man price or the contractor price. What it makes they trying to make money and become a rich with scamming peoples so basically the marketplace of any kind of job if they are costing, let’s say hundred dollar now in in order as a handyman to make $100 you have to provide with the code of like $50 +30% so to cover Jiffy expense otherwise as a pro you will lose a lot of money if you just caught in as a regular price in the market so that’s why I think it’s better just a customers to hire local Handy demands instead of those corporation.

Worst experience ever had in my life
They treat new pros like trash. I registered to be a pro with Jiffy in July, and now it’s November — yet there are still no available spaces, according to them. I’m extremely disappointed. They made me pay for insurance for months, giving me false hope that I would be activated soon. Worst experience ever.

No Payment Protection for Pros
I completed a confirmed job trough Jiffy - the client approved it, but payment was never released. Support ignored messages. There’s no real protection for workers here. I’ve filled a complaint with Consumer Protection BC.

Very dumb app
Horrible company with a bunch of empty, bot sounding internal staff that can’t even process anything being explained. Even if they have dishonest clients who want you to work for free after you’ve shown evidence of your work, some how you as a service professional will take the hit in obviously silly disputes so it feels like you’re working for nothing. They take huge fees as well and you have almost no control. Looks like you’re actually an employee working for them and being taken advantage of.
Not sure how sustainable what they do is as many great pros have been deactivated due to their senseless customer is always right belief. Strangely they don’t even analyze or see where some complaints don’t make sense, once there’s a dispute you’re on your way out.

I applied to be a pro about a year ago. It is almost 1 year and still I am on the wait list. Which is he never mentioned to me. I just talked to him and he is telling me to send me an email about wait list. Why would I want an email from you after a year about wait list? Do you want me to wait another year to get a 25$ job f om you?

Not worth the cost
Most expensive with very little respect. Freezing accounts but demanding to continue repeat customers without receiving new customers. Horrible company and no respect of anyone. I don’t recommend anyone to ever work with them.
