Issue with current location on map
There is a major problem that i face while using jio gps. When my driver takes the vehicle I can track the journey see what route they’ve taken in past journey section but when it goes to current journey I can not see the route he is taking but only where the vehicle is right now. Also when i want to zoom to find out from any landmark where vehicle is it is not possible as it retakes me to the same view zoom and area name nearby or road name are not visible for currently on going journey.

Best device so far i used. We can track location of car along with we can use this as wifi dongle.

Being such a large organization (Jio), it’s surprising to see the Jiothings app in a half-baked state. There is significant room for improvement:
1. No alert sound: The app does not generate an alert sound when the tracker exits the JioFences. It only shows a notification without any sound or vibration. How will anyone know if the car has left the fence without an audible alert?
2. No movement history: The history trip feature does not show the movement of the tracker on the map, unlike other tracking apps that display GPS movements for past trips.
3. Performance issues: Last but not least, the app is very slow. Kindly optimize it. Since Jio has its own cloud servers, please utilize them effectively to improve response time.

Jio motive device is superb but few features are missing just like Airconditioner on off notification is not available and

Tracker is almost unusable because of App!!
I am using the JioMotive OBD Car GPS tracker and have come across two major problems in the JioThing iOS app that make it unreliable in real-world use:
Random Sign-Out (Session Expired):
The app frequently signs me out with a “session expired” message. This happens without any notification. During this time, I don’t receive any alerts or updates from the tracker. This is a serious issue - users may assume the app is running and actively monitoring, but in reality they’re logged out and missing important alerts.
Silent Alerts (No Notification Sound):
Even when the app does send alerts, there is no sound. They arrive as silent notifications, which are easy to miss unless I happen to check my phone. This defeats the purpose of having a tracker that should warn me instantly when something important happens.
Both of these issues make the JioMotive app unreliable and significantly reduce its usefulness.

More than what it seems like !!!
I have been thrilled by what all this particular Vehicle tracker OBD can do. I have been discovering a lot of details which I could have otherwise not know easily… Above all, the WiFi hotspot option and network support even in remote areas is the greatest feature for me. Great product!
Useless
After using #JioMotive for over a month i can confidently say it is as useless as Indian judiciary. It gives silent notification( doesn’t vibrate) for start /stop etc and shows accurate tracking only when you open the application. The installation is east but extremely delicate, even a touch by your feet while driving will remove it from OBD. Better to leave your vehicle on Gods mercy rather trusting this OBD.

bad experience with jio Not receiving current update for my car
I recently tried the Jio things car GPS and have been extremely disappointed. The live tracking feature is almost non-existent, with updates taking over 24 hours to reflect. The quality of the product is subpar, and customer support has been unresponsive. Overall, this has been a frustrating experience, and i feel like i’ve wasted my money on jio product. I expected much better from them. Avoid if you want reliable service!!

I was expecting this product for the last 3 years .. that’s when u came to know of it … and boy … it’s awesome … the best part is the esim part … no new number required … OBD GPS with in car WIFI ..

Works well with JioMotive
Have been using it with Jio Motive to check different things related to my car.
The app works fine and is made to provide info that is needed but I think there is room for improvement in the way the app looks and feels.

Doesn’t work
Tracking is absent most of the times now , Doesn’t even capture the speed of the car in one of the devices & on the other car it doesn’t capture vehicle stats now which it used to do earlier …. Overall very disappointing experience … escalations to customer service hasn’t got me a response either despite sharing video and photo evidence of the malfunctions & errors … not recommended

Disappointed over the last few months
Jio motive not working as intended. The GPS is not being updated often and I get a ton of notification suddenly once the location has been updated. The WI-FI feature on the jiomotive has also stopped working.

It is not showing the location of where the car is parked but the location of a different place and sometimes even when we start the car, no notification comes, even when the car is in parking at night, notifications of car start and stop come, actually the car is parked, the car is running but still it appears to be parked at the wrong location

Just about average
If you need serious vehicle tracking then this is not for you. Often the vehicle location is delayed or not available at all.
The metrics provided when the car is running are not very useful. Wish they could provide speed instead of rpm and fuel level.
Overall more if a hobby project than a serious vehicle monitoring solution.

JioThings app unable to discover lost tag.
I would recommend not to but jio tag. I do not know why company making fool in the name of jio community. My tag was lost and I put it on report lost after 6 hours my tag was undiscovered and unable to report later I found my tag in my brother’s bag who was only 7 kilometres away when I put it on report lost. There is no such community which finds your lost belongings. Such a waste of money. Later, I tried to check whether it is capable of finding lost thing or not, I left my bag a kilometre away and put my tag on report lost believe me after 3 hours there was no notification of finding my tag instead app will keep showing you I found my tag and put a tick over there. I was buying Apple tag but when I saw less price and same feature I chose this but the feeling is no more than regret.

Great and updated request
App is good but requires few more features also in trip if developer add an export report of trip and km time for a month or custom period in excel or cvs file it would be great to track.
Jio thing should add real time location sharing feature with friends and family.
Also i am not getting information about fuel economy.

Feedback and request to developers
I am not receiving any push notifications from the jio things app related to jiomotive device. Whats the point of having alerts if u can only see them after opening the app. Please fix this asap.
