Life-changer
This app has helped me immensely. I love the added features that make it stronger/more adaptable than Screen Time. I have been using it for just under a month and my doomscrolling is less than half of what it was before.

I have been very satisfied since I started using this app to lock my mobile apps and I have been able to manage my time a lot with this app.
Updates for Mac are needed
I know you’re a small team, but you really have to prioritise the Mac app at some point. It is so far behind the curve I have had to switch over to Cold Turkey on my computer because I can easily circumvent Jomo and there are many many bugs in this app.

This app gave me back free time I didn’t know id had, i haven’t been able to crack my phone addiction in YEARS! tryed every app, hack, and advice but jomo is what did it!!!! I literally cant recommend this app enough!

Jomo has everything I was looking for to help me with my phone usage. I also like that it’s good on battery. This app is a keeper!

It really is that simple. Take some time and set the app up properly and you will regain your life back. At first it might be a bit painful, but soon not using your phone becomes habit.

Blocking youtube blocks youtube in browser also. It’s what I wanted but damn

It restricted my YouTube by using their stupid allow access I can’t even open YouTube it is now restricted forever… Please stay away from this app

What happened here is a very rare bug related to Apple’s Screen Time system, not a permanent restriction caused by Jomo itself. The situation can usually be fixed with a few steps, and we’re absolutely ready to help you until it’s fully resolved. Good but the jomo widget is not syncing my safari app’s screen time
My actual screen time is 1 hour and jomo is showing 30 mins only and not counting the other 30 mins spent on safari. This happens with safari only. Please do something about it. Thanks

Jomo is the best one
Much better than a basic one like brick which could be easily replicated, a small team that runs it and it is genuinely really good also students get 50% off. I'm doing my hsc at the moment and it actually helps so much. Strict mode allows me to actually lock I. And even when I automatically want to check my phone I have to put it down 100% recommennd

Best App Blocker
I have truly tried every app blocker app imaginable. I use Cold Turkey Pro on my Mac. I’ve tried Opal, Screenzen, and the replica apps. Jomo is by far the best. The UI/UX is beautiful and easy to use. They have the best features. And most importantly it actually works
Super helpful and customizable
Genuinely helps me get off my phone! I use it all, I schedule sessions and also use the quick block option for when it’s like oh my god, I need a (forced) BREAK. Customer service is also amazing, the team is super responsive if you have a question, I’m talking like a response in a few hours even on a weekend. It’s great to support people like that! Try it out!

Exactly what I need: external support
I’ve tried to write a longer, fancier, nicer, more detailed review of Jomo but my app always kicks me out or something before I can hit send. In a nutshell: the whole point of this app that makes it work so well is we as individuals can’t easily fight against a bunch of wealthy companies’ algorithms designed to grab and hold our attention. Willpower didn’t stop my phone addiction; I needed external support. This app does it almost perfectly. Sounds like I’m getting paid for this review, but yes I do actually recommend other people download it — unpopular opinion but everyone of every age will live a better life if we stop doomscrolling and avoiding people.

I never write reviews but this is one of the most important apps in my life!
The way they’ve designed options on how to block your apps & schedules is very intuitive. It just makes sense and is a joy to use. Has all the features you’d want and expect and allows the perfect level of control over your digital life.
