Incredible app, but extremely slow and buggy
I love how easy it is to get advice quickly and track feedings, diapers, and sleep. However ever since the last few updates tracking has gotten so slow. To the point it lags so much I have to force close it and reopen to log each time. I hope this feature is fixed in the upcoming updates.

Helpful tracker!
This app has been a game-changer for tracking my baby’s daily routines. The interface is clean and intuitive—I can log feeding times, diaper changes, and sleep schedules in just a few taps. No clunky menus or confusing navigation.
Peace of mind
As a first time mom I love that I can ask different experts (AI or opting for the actual person) questions. It gives me peace of mind with nonemergency questions or scenarios that may come up at any time with my little one.
Trapped and tricked!
I never wanted the Joy parenting app. It was included in a photography bundle we did from the hospital. I went to cancel it. It charged me over $100 upfront now it is charging me every three months 30 something dollars. I’ve never once used this app. It is a huge scam. I don’t care to use it. I’m not a first time, parent, etc..

The reassurance I needed
I am a first time mom and I have asked the AI experts a thousand questions trying to understand my new baby and what to expect from her. Not only do they answer my questions and help me understand why she does certain things, they let me know I am doing a good thing by asking these questions or noticing things. It sounds silly, but as someone who has never done this before and is on little sleep all hours of the night, it not only gives me the answers I need but the reassurance to push through the hard phases. Though they are AI, I feel seen and validated, which just helps me break down a little less in those newborn trenches.

Predatory - WOW!
My wife and I had a daughter 3 months ago.
A photographer came and took photos of our baby, and we wanted to buy them. All photo packages had a MANDATORY 3 month subscription to Joy Parenting. We could not get the photos of our daughter without singing up for this app lol.
I told the photographer I would not use the service, and she said thats fine, the first 3 months are a complimentary part of the photo bundle, and then it would not auto-renew.
Well, on our child’s 3 month birthday, guess who I see a charge from? Joy Parenting.
It is extremely predatory to unknowingly sign up new parents (who are facing probably the biggest change of their lives) for your app.

Having a team readily available to ask all my new mom questions was so helpful. Definitely worth the money.

I heard about this at the hospital and it came as a package deal. It’s been really helpful especially as I navigate the 4 month regression. I plan to also use it for help when we start solids!

Amazing resource for first time parents!
Joy has been a game changer for us as first time parents. It’s given us a really easy way to track our baby’s feeds and diapers, which comes in handy for our pediatrician appointments. The AI feature is also great for those late night questions or concerns when you don’t have access to the live coaches. Also, it has great content that we’ve found to be incredibly helpful. We have our first parenting coaching session tomorrow and can’t wait to get additional support from Joy as we navigate the first few weeks of parenthood. 10/10 recommend, you won’t regret it!

Wonderful app
I love this app. My mom had purchased newborn photos along with a subscription to the app and it has helped me a lot. I go here a lot for advice on my little one and tips and tricks for development. They are always messaging me, following up and getting me thinking of how to better care for my son. They also have really helpful articles and tracking tools.

Worth it! A true lifesaver

Definitely wish I had this app with my first. I questioned everything overreacted to a lot of stuff that meant nothing in the long run. I love that the experts in the app are non-judgmental and understand. Which means a lot. Thank you Joy for answering all my silly questions, easing my nerves, and helping me through moments of doubt.

Great App
This app has been helping me with my newborns schedule since I came home from the hospital. I can record and keep track of my baby’s feeding and diaper change times and also talk to someone when I have concerns.
Best Parenting App
I am a first time mom. I have no idea if some things are normal or tips for sleeping, feeding, etc. As a first time mom to a 2 month old this app is beyond helpful. Its nice to be able to talk to someone or get advice at 2am or 4 am or even during the day.
