Horrible App / Poor Customer Service
My food was 45 minutes late (Again!) The app displays an expected delivery time. When asking customer service to at least refund part of the very expensive delivery fee, they continued to make excuses. I’ll just use local food delivery options like Meituan from now on. JSS has given a 50/50 bad experience over the time I’ve used it. What the service actually does is 1) you put in the order 2) JSS calls the restaurant to place your order 3) JSS contacts a random delivery person through ShanSong （闪送） 4) that person picks up your order and it may or may not get to you. The actual cost of ShanSong for JSS is between 15-30 rmb but your cost is 50-150 rmb. Don’t be fooled by this horrible app. Go with Meituan or Eleme. Reasonable prices and direct to business.

Good service, bad app
As the title says, I enjoy the service! Living outside of Beijing city center, it’s nice to have a variety of food to treat my family to without traveling downtown.
The issues are I have are the constant lags and glitches this app suffers. They also recently stopped supporting the WeChat mini-app so regular users are about to encounter every bug and glitch this app has to offer ranging from a bugged check out cart to constantly reloading the main page upon opening the app.
Customer service is the only thing saving the app at this point. JSS needs a team of new programmers in to sort this out or folks that can figure Meituan or another long-range delivery service are going to use those instead.

A mess since the last update
I don't know who decided the app needed an update, but as a software developer, this is one of the worst update I ever seen in my life: Display is broken on my iPhone 15 pro every single time, filters are very clunky, sometimes leading to an infinite loop presenting you the same 20 restaurants over and over while you scroll down. Recently I cannot even order! Touching the "Checkout" button leads to an error message that I cannot even read because it is displayed for less than 1ms.
How shoting yourself in the foot feels when your previous app was perfectly fine ?
That's a shame because I was a long time customer but I feel I will have to switch to other apps...

Pretty decent overall
I’ve been using the app for several years, and most of the time things go well when I order. But the app has a variety of problems. The merchants don’t do a good job of updating the app when they’ve run out of things, especially the grocery store, and when they’ve run down run out, it seems the items disappear forever. And after the last update, the app really isn’t working as well as it should, even after I deleted and reinstalled. I really appreciate having service in English, but I do hope JSS improves its app.

The Customer service is trash. Need a refund well they will never answer you. The price of food is almost double the normal price and they will charge you a lot for delivery fees. I know that apps like meituin might be difficult for foreigners but have a Chinese friend help you set it up and it’s not that hard to use with WeChat translating pictures. It will save you time and money I promise.
These people at this company are trying to make money of the back of foreigners that don’t know enough about China. It should be a scam.

Absolute omnishambles
I have always had good experiences ordering in Beijing. The orders always came ahead of time and the telephonist would always call in very clear English to say when the driver was there.
yet when I ordered for the first time in Shenzhen - the telephonist called around ten minutes after placing the order to say one of the meal bundle items was sold out. Yet when I asked what other items were available he said they were also sold out. I simply stated that I wanted the equivalent amount of food for this price but the telephonist was virtually impossible to understand and didn’t seem to get the obvious notion that I wanted a substitute item that was roughly the same amount of food for the same price. Considering JSS charge a higher price for this service, I am utterly appalled by this service and simply asked asked them to cancel the order as they really couldn’t care less. Why accept an order when you have no capacity to fulfill it?

我们等了超过三个小时，餐送来的时候不仅已经完全冷了，而且还少了一个菜。等待中多次尝试联系客服都没有任何回复（到现在也没有给我任何回复）。骑手到达的时候也没有任何抱歉，到我发现少了一个菜时他已经完全跑了…总之，真心不建议大家使用这个app。
问题很多
1.界面广告并没有及时更新，有些店铺已经倒闭了还在广告位；
2.餐厅信息太模糊，比如午餐晚餐统一配送，找了一圈并没有找到到底是在哪个时间段统一配送；
3.说需要预约的餐厅，预约了之后并没有到达，咨询客服之后说第一项说明里说了配送时间是晚上七点前到达，我不明白既然这样为什么要开放0点到24点的预约时间？
4.和客服沟通说他们应该说明一下，不然也是加大他们的工作量，客服说他们就是做这个的，那好，希望你们能针对不同的餐厅进行不同的说明，不然浪费客户咨询客服的时间，这么表达会不会合理一些？

客服形同虚设
提前9小时就预约了。最后晚了1h送到。送来饭菜都冷了。关键是在此期间联系不到任何客服。也不知道到底能不能送来。有事也不能出门。想退单也不行。只能无止境的等待。客服微信，热线，app内留言都尝试了十几次，几天过去了都完全没有任何回复。7欧的配送费享受极差的服务。送餐员态度也很差，说爱要不要，不要找客服退单。请问有客服吗？
送餐太慢了
下单后2个小时还没开始送餐 是常态。联系app内的客服没有人回应。加微信联系德国客服 也没有人…服务简直太灾难了…

Consistently do not work with restaurants to update menus and use 3rd parties for delivery.
The delivery drivers are not good 🙃
Not worth the hassle. It’s great because everything is English and you can order from far places HOWEVER almost every time I order the delivery drivers are lost or take 2 hours to deliver food when it would normally take 30-40 minutes. It’s weird because my address is not complicated and it is written in Chinese. My location is on a Main Street and an east to find street so I never understand why they always have a problem. Meituan driver never and I mean never have a problem finding the address so be prepared to call, chase down and wait in the cold for food 😕

JSS is good relative to most food apps in Shanghai. The service is faster and you get the food hot.
However, please stop using push notifications to spam whatever deal or promotion you have.
I want to get push notifications from your app when my food is out for delivery. I don’t want to get push notifications that you have lemon and onions on discount at 10am on a random Wednesday.
It’s incredibly rude to your customers. Just because I have notifications enabled for JSS so I can get updates on my order doesn’t mean I want my push notifications to be used for advertising.
