A very good app, could use a few improvements

I liked this app because it’s a single purchase and is well designed. The two problems with it are a) the notification system needs some more options, like a voice telling us “slow walking now” or “fast walking now” so we don’t miss the change. The system of a notification on the phone (which I’m not looking at) and Apple Watch (which doesn’t fire 100% of the time, or else I didn’t notice it 100% of the time) could be improved on. And b) we need the option for more than 5 intervals. What if I am doing a 45 minute walk, or a 60 minute walk?

Walking Fast/slow

I really enjoy this app, found about on TikTok and now whenever I’m on the treadmill this is what I use. I feel great after every workout.

Has potential

This app has potential but needs work. The distances are often recorded incorrectly. At 70+ years old, I know I can’t cover 3.9 miles in 30 minutes. The last time I used it, on what should have been the last leg of time, it said I had 2 more cycles to go. Then before that was done the app started back to the beginning without recording any stats.

Ok. Not perfect

If you turn off the screen and put your phone in your pocket, like most walkers or runners do, you won’t get any audible notifications when an interval starts or ends

Each step I take is intentional, consistent, and meaningful

This helps me stay fit and lose/maintain weight. I track how often I walk better. 30 minutes is a perfect amount of time for a walk to start my mornings, take mental health breaks from work, and think about all the things I need to do/plan to do for my day/week and life. Great app. Love the simplicity of the design.

Simple, cheap and easy to use

I upgraded to pro so I could close the app. Works great. Feels like I e done a real workout in just 30 min.

The best Japanese Walking App

I’ve seen more of these apps popping up, and this one is my favorite! I love the intervals, and this feels way better than trying to get 10,000 steps every day.

The Good Ol’Days

I remember a time when I didn’t need apps like this. Had the brain power to keep count and walk at the same time. But the truth is, as you get older, your faculties get worse and I’m just not ready to give up on my Japanese walking.

This is why I give this app my 5 star approval - something I rarely do. It helps me feel like I’m back in the good ol’ days without too much hubbub.

It’s also very affordable for my limited income that I now have at my old age (Thanks Obama).

Solid App!

I’ve really enjoyed using this for my daily walks around the neighborhood! Keeps me on a proper healthy pace.

Make walking fun again

Walking fast and slow with grandkids around the kitchen island or to the garden becomes a fun activity. They have fun and I have a record of doing something good for myself.
