Tried using it in a couple online shops and the button to validate cart never works .. don’t waste your time it’s just a scam .. all these fake reviews are also a scam . It never lets you purchase anything even after supposedly getting a spending amount . Useless and a waste of time .

Katapult has given me a second chance that I desperately needed. My old phone could only text message and I am a father of 2 special needs children so I desperately needed to buy a new phone which Katapult gave me the opportunity to buy a new phone.
Broken app
I can’t speak to the actual service, as I never got to the point of doing business with them. I can say that the app is horribly broken. I was preapproved for a set amount and went to use a portion of it. The issues start when their automated system decides what items you are buying that qualify as leasable. It’s all over the board. It will say an item isn’t leasable, even when it should be, but it will approve items that clearly should not be leasable. Then it will “change its mind” based on if another item is still in the cart or not. After that all finally gets sorted out (one way or another), I went to pay, but was told I was suddenly not approved. I went through the process again, and less than two minutes later it gave me a lease contract. I decided last minute to change some items in my cart, so went through that process again, which is painfully broken, only to be told yet again I was suddenly not approved. At that point I just gave up. May be ok if you are in a pinch and can get it to work, but as it stands the app is too horribly broken to even consider giving them my business.

I don’t have the greatest credit but I don’t have bad credit either. I have always paid for everything using cash. So it’s nice to have a company give me a chance. They let me get a $3,000 set of tires for my truck. The only other option I had would’ve been to buy some junk tires off of eBay that I would have had to replace every year. I had a few problems navigating the website and called customer service and they were awesome. Not only were they very helpful but I could actually understand what they were saying. I’m not trying to sound racist because I am not but at the same time I can’t stand calling a company’s customer service and trying to understand what someone from India is saying let alone getting the problem resolved. I have the option of paying off the total amount within three months and then I don’t even have to pay interest. I’m assuming that it should help me build credit too.

Doesn’t work
I was approved for a substantial amount and when I try using the virtual card to purchase at Best Buy I keep getting a error code which is beyond annoying. I canceled the order 5 different times and re tried and still didn’t work. Customer service couldn’t help either. Very frustrating
I made a payment and than they again took out another payments
I made a payment than few hours later notice another same amount went out. So they deduct same amount again and when I check my account they only credit me for one payment but the other payment they took out was not credited.
Payment arrangement
I made a payment with a different card than the one I wanted to save as my auto-pay card. The system switched my cards out anyways. I wanted to make sure payment could always go through with the card I had saved.

Doesn’t work
I’ve had the app for two years(combination of downloading deleting and reinstalling) never used it simply doesn’t work. I follow instructions get on shopping apps make a cart of items and the Katapult icon never appears.

Simple and Fast
Not complicated and very simple way to quickly get approval and get the funds or product.
System sucks.
The system won’t charge you monthly and then will wait until it’s past due to take one large sum out. Then customer service won’t give you a refund to help you out. They need to look at the system to make sure it’s working correctly.

Waste of time sign up get approved attempt to use failed transaction … waste of time don’t trust the paid reviews
Would definitely not recommend
First off every two weeks does not mean you take my payment twice in one week! Second, why download another app when the app has you go to your website to talk to a computer about your payment problem! Third, it took awhile to get a “real person”. Fourth, it took the “real person some time to find the answer! We live in a very slow computer age!
