I regularly used Kelowna Cabs, normally by simply calling dispatch. Decided to try to app instead to streamline the process and to take advantage of the 15% offered savings. Needless to say, I inputted the exact same routes into the app, combined with the 15% savings and was blown away at what price they were attempting to charge me. The app is almost every situation charged me almost 50% more then for the exact same route as when I would simply call and then pay the driver directly following the trip. No joke, I experimented with this several times and the app with an alleged 15% savings was trying to overcharge me every time by a considerable bit. Not impressed. I recommend avoiding it.

company cancels bookings with no explanation
A very rough app, that the company doesn't even seem to want its customers to use. Lots of problems making Apple Pay or credit cards work properly. And twice I prebooked a trip with app, only to have it cancelled by the company with no explanation. Also there was a promo code advertised in the app, but the app refused to apply it to the trip, without giving an explanation. And there is a time zone error in the part of app where you enter your flight arrival time. the app seems to be using GMT instead of local time zone for that, while it uses local time for everything else. Overall the app is a complete waste of time-- just use the phone number the old-school way

Why do they add 5 dollars to the meter when I just got in the taxi????? And the meter runs like a dollar per 30 seconds.

An accident almost 4 years ago, resulted on my dependency with this cab company. They have always treated me with friendly respect and great patience. They have never not shown up or been late ,we share ideas and interesting opinions on the route. The dispatcher is most cooperative and has acted as my reminder many times it’s important to feel comfortable and assured, and even recognized, when you place your destination in another’s hands. This company is honest and although I know it is not always an easy job. They are trustworthy and look after their clients.
Seniors are not always easy, sometimes we aren’t always positive, but it is not an easy adjustment. Nor is the experience to lose one’s ability to drive. It is like losing your freedom. I think they understand this. Clean cabs too!

Absolutely garbage company. They don’t check who gets in the cab, was standing outside in -30°c waiting for a cab that someone else stole from us.

Missing an important feature
App does a decent job for calling a cab Right Now, but does not allow you to schedule a pickup later in the day.
Please add the ability to schedule a cab in the evening, to pick you up in the morning to go someplace, like the airport.

Very poor service
Pre booked a cab for 9:30 at 5 o’clock. At 9:30 there was no sign of a cab we waited till 10:30 got on a call 20 minute later and they said the cab would be there 30mins later and no cab ever showed up and no call showing there would be a cancellation very disappointed with how poor this situation was handled and will never book with this company again .

Operator shockingly rude
Tried to called for help and the lady answered the phone ask the same question for over 5-6times and then I really got annoyed by that and I was wondering what she is not understanding then she said refused to help cause I am being “rude”. What a shocking experience!

Waited and waited and waited and no one came. Called said they were coming. No one came. Tried the app again. And no one came. Terrible Kelowna why is there no Uber?

Can’t enter address
I thought it was my iPhone location access at first, but the comments are true! You can’t save or enter address on this app. I use the GPS to push a cab from my present address but your cab shows up and doesn’t know where to go. Can be frustrating when you don’t know your location well and cab driver gets nervous too. Doesn’t make from a seamless travel experience
