Beware clunky auto refill
No way to turn off auto refill so once you start using the app you’re stuck always with a balance of more than 25$.
Impossible to properly Connect
I try to open an account but there is is a bug to autentify. Costumer service contacted : they just considère i’m not capable to properly type my password (While automatically manage by Windows)
I really wanted to use and pay for this service but it is just impossible

Great system - meh interface
Keycafe’s system is great and works flawlessly almost every time. The actual app looks like it was developed in some random guys basement. Hard to market an app when it looks like it belongs on the original iPhone

Has never worked for me
I have tried to use this system when staying at a rental property four times now (so, picking keys up four times, dropping them off four times) and it has not worked on any of those occasions. It literally just does not work. Sometimes the system is off-line, sometimes the touchscreen just doesn’t respond, sometimes the codes don’t work, and so on. I’m a fairly tech savvy person and I don’t believe the error is on my end. Each time I have called support and spent 30-60 minutes being walked through various trouble shooting steps. I assume this would be a good system if it were reliable, but in my experience, it is not.

Una vez que le sacas la mano a como funciona la app. Es muy buena. Siempre y te da varias obvio es específicas para poder hacer con el lockbox. Al comienzo la app no te explica muy bien el tema de cómo configurar un lock público con tu perfil. Tuve que llamar al número que es 24horas. Y me ayudaron a entender todo. Y eso que yo soy un chico de 22 años. Me llevo bien con la tecnología y me costo. No me quiero imaginar alguien mayor. Se vuelve loco. Pasa que no te explican bien.

Good service but abusive payment conditions
The service is very good but after a few weeks you will discover they top up on you card as if it was their own. I used 25€ of service and they decided to take 60€. They will explain you they can do it because it is hidden somewhere in the T&C. This is scam. Avoid.

I’m a Vendor
I think this is a great idea I’ve been using it for about a year now, the property manager sends me an alert that comes up on my app and I pick up the keys and drop them off. Sometimes it’s a little inconvenient as when you finish a job you wanna go straight home, but in the grand scheme of things it’s much easier than what it takes sometimes jumping through hoops to get keys because the lockbox is not allowed on property. I think this company is going to go far.

Unreliable
Picked and dropped off a key as a guest. Dropping off was a horrible experience - the box disconnected twice and required both an access code and fob. Had to call the landlord to get the code + the dob didnt scan the first few times. Took me 20mins total with unhelpful customer support to eventually drop off the keys. Really should have take 2 minutes top.

terrible product
this product is terrible. keys are constantly lost, but in the box. the user interface is absolutely horrendous. the box goes offline constantly, making it so you can’t get keys. do not purchase this system!

Completely useless - just type in code instead
I stayed at an Airbnb that used KeyCafe. This app did not import the key that was sent by the host. Instead I had to punch in the 9 digit code at the lockbox, which means that this app was of no use whatsoever.
Save yourself the time and don’t bother installing this app. Instead, just use the numeric code at the cafe.

Great for Airbnb
Easy to remotely manage your Airbnb. The app no longer requires guests to download the app as some of the reviewers in the past mention. You get a code and a mobile experience link to send the guest.
DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY
It’s a great idea but they are extremely incompetent and not consistent. Countless times I’ve had guests who could not pick up the keys or could not drop off the keys and cancel I’ve lost over thousands of dollars in cancellations doing business with this company the absolute worst.
Shockingly terrible technology for such an old company
The key pickup cafes require internet 100% of the time to work, and often don’t have connection to the internet. Terrible design, locked out for hours.
Fine when it works, atrocious when it doesn’t
When the app connects, it’s a painless process. But I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes waiting to return my keys, and I had similar troubles when retrieving them.
AirBnB hosts: Do not force your guests to use this app. You are causing them trouble at a time when they want to enjoy their vacation.
