Nice company
Nice platform to grow your business
Bad for anyone who’s established
My first issue was that most if not all of these yards are paying out well below market. So if my usual price is around $65, they have it listed at $35-40. Not bad if you are just starting out and need the work.
When I finally did accept a job, the customer did not list that a smaller mower was required to get in the backyard. So, I only mowed the front. I did try to check the back and based on what I could see it was all weeds and no grass. Like that it wasn’t being mowed and didn’t need mowed. So I figured that’s why it wasn’t mentioned on the listing. Anyway, later that night I recieved an email with this message from lawn love:
“Your customer at •••••••••••• has been permanently removed from your upcoming schedule following a quality service dispute from their August 26 Lawn Mowing service.

Based on our review, this customer is being reassigned to a different provider. You will retain your original payout of $35.02 for the work completed.”
I figured great! They scam the app and get a free mowing, and I still get paid!
Well that’s where lawn loves background check comes in. They never mentioned a mandatory background check to get paid! And they also don’t mention you have to wait 2 weeks to get paid.
So in conclusion, this app is AWESOME for people who need work - they do all the marketing, and you can easily make $300 a day picking up jobs in your area. You just have to jump through hoops to have it in your account.

Do not partner up with them at all. Warning.
Man, I did two jobs. The first job. It looks like the yard hasn't been cut for about a whole year and they only charge them $38. I was out there for four hours straight, just for the front yard. The customer left a one-star review. My account got disconnected without me knowing.
Deactivated without reason
Woke up to the not working 2 days later I called to find out what’s going on and he couldn’t tell me anything other than I was deactivated and not able to reactivate. I asked about my payouts her said that they would escalate that request. I’m not sure what’s going on but the lack of communication is a major red flag.
