Absolute joke of an app
There are so many issues with this app that I don’t even know where to begin:
Sleep mode: I have it set from 10pm to 7am however, the app clearly can’t parse time and puts the system into sleep mode at noon.
Fan: No option to set modes during time blocks. Even the most basic thermostats provide such features
UI: Has to be the worst of them all. Stops working and have to reopen the app to see updated UI. If I make a change, it’s not visible and confuses the user whether the changes made were registered or not.
For a system that’s marketed and priced as premium, this is absolutely not worth it at all.

Can’t adjust temp
I keep setting my status and the temperature for it to cool to 75. The status consistently says cool to 71. I cannot get it to change.
Buggy
The new update removed “Inside” from the temperature screen. The app is buggy and you have to make a selection several times because it doesn’t register.
Can’t adjust temp on home screen
PLEASE add the -+ buttons on the home screen to easily adjust temperature just how your old app was able to!
Awful UX
Why has Lennox not offered a formal feedback mechanism after all of these years? Email, ticketing system, etc. And why do customers go months without any form of update? This all should be updated weekly.
Good app
Easy to use app. The one thing it’s missing is energy reporting. I’d love to be able to see how often the unit is running in chart/graph format similar to Nest
Terrible
Compared to the old app this version is terrible. Half the time the app resets to the previous temperature and you spend multiple attempts trying to get it to accept the new setting. I just spend 5 minutes trying to turn off one of our units until it finally stuck. I never had any issues, ever, with the previous app.

Unreliable
Every year it seems this thermostat controller goes out. We’re on our fifth version of the “updated” controller and we continue to have issues.
Other app was better
I was forced to finally use this app after having the iComfort app for years. I rely on my thermostat schedules. On the old app, I was able to have each time zone have its own fan mode. For example, my Summer schedule has 4 time zones with 2 zones having the fan circulate, and the other 2 on auto. This new app doesn’t allow for each time zone within a schedule to have its own fan mode. If they could fix that, the app would be tolerable.

Lennox S40 is less than basic
I have been using the Lennox S40 thermostat and Lennox Home for about 9 months now. Since I have a variable speed Lennox HVAC system this is my only option. I had a Lennox S30 previously which I was happy with.
The S40 has no run time stats available to view on the thermostat or the app. You must wait a month and if you can get Lennox to set it up properly they will email you a monthly performance report. This is a basic requirement for a smart thermostat. You cannot tell how long the HVAC system has been running. Beyond that, there are several features on the thermostat that are not in the app.
I would not purchase a Lennox HVAC System or the S40 thermostat unless these are resolved.

Ok needs updating
App always says not connected to thermostat but still works. Weird. Will not acknowledge connection. Asked dealer and they have no clue.
Lennox report sent to me
Stat screen and iPhone app do not agree. Stat shows COOLING and DEHUMIDIFING. App shows only snowflake. On app, in mode screen, dehumidify shows a line through icon.
The report shows the number of hours for heating and cooling. My system has a dehumidification mode. Lennox does tell me the dehumidification hours. Why Lennox?

Doesn’t Work
Waste of time and money, the app will look like its working (sometimes) but then i go to change the temperature it never works. Sucks…. They better update this or better improve their product
Furnace Rebiew
Don’t really know how well the Furnace is working because the house is either always way too hot or way too cold. The smart thermostat is not user-friendly and very very difficult to understand. Have tried calling for assistance. Assistance has not been helpful at all.
Download every time
It makes me download the app every single time I wanna change the temperature and I already have the app downloaded so then it just says open, but I have to do it every time
APP sucks
Lennox changed thier app and I cannot use on my two year old Apple SE. So why have an app
Rather sell the house than keep this
Never communicates. It’s a nightmare. Paid 20k for this and it never connects to WiFi! It’s a literal nightmare every day to change temperature might as well not be smart.
Terrible
It worked efficiently before the upgrade if you call it that. How is it an upgrade when you add unnecessary time wasting steps to get to the same place?
The instructions suck
The app works great, except that I had to put in my information multiple times as I would get different error messages "user not created" or "account not verified" Never could get the pin to work. Once you finally get it set up, it works great. Hopefully Lennox will not make any more changes.
