Hits and Misses
Build quality of cam is outstanding and worthy of Lexus branding. Connectivity via OEM Y-Harness makes for a clean fit that facilitates DIY installation (in spite of the confusing printed instructions). Luckily there’s an abundance of online resources for this cam and it’s Toyota labeled brethren. Was able to substitute a 128GB SD Card for the meager 16GB that came with the cam. App is adequate for basic file storage, viewing, and access. Just don’t expect data processing speeds you get from your PC, laptop or tablet - it’s just a simple CCD camera with onboard SD storage and rudimentary WiFi connectivity primarily for file transfer. Considering it cost me under $300 for the cam, harness, and 128GB SD card - and installed the unit myself, I consider this a great product that meets or exceeds the needs of most drivers. Lastly, the Lexus badging it instills more confidence in quality and performance than any of the oddly named CCP made products.

Terrible
This is so slow and not functional. I would rate it a zero if I could.
Don’t get it
It doesn’t work. It’s been 8 months since I got the car with the camera and the dealer hasn’t been able to fix it yet
Very slow
I just installed my dash cam yesterday and tried to preview my recordings and I am not able to view any of my recordings. It only works when downloaded. If I click preview on the downloads tab there is mo way to exit from the video mode screen. I have to close the app and open it again to go to home screen again. The quality brand of Lexus should be across all platforms. Hope I can see some improvements after this review. I bought this because I believe in Lexus brand. Don’t let people rethink and use other brands.
