RightTrack is RIGGED!
Needs to save incomplete claims across app launches
So I had to speed enter the minimum info (text blocks set to “later”) and don’t knows of stuff I had previously populated just to force the claim to be saved.
Assuming I’ll be able to edit stuff later.
App should save all data entered to allow user to continue at any point later. Including time (.could be hours) or power cycles of device (battery depletion.
Creepy App

Extremely Disappointing Experience with Liberty Mutual RightTrack
The biggest issue for me is the way the discount was represented when I enrolled. I was specifically told by the Liberty Mutual representative that the RightTrack discount was permanent. I understood that to mean that once I completed the program and earned the discount, that discount would continue as long as I remained a Liberty Mutual customer and maintained the applicable policy.
That is not what happened.
The discount turned out to be good only until the next renewal, at which point it can be removed or recalculated. Had the program been accurately explained to me as a temporary, renewal-based discount, I would have made a different decision. Being told that the discount was permanent and then discovering that it wasn't is extremely frustrating.
I found the RightTrack driving assessments to be unreliable and prone to false positives. I had three hard-braking events detected in one 2-mile drive. The only hard-braking events that were ever detected during my assesment period., two of whigs were in my own driveway. I lost 5 points on my score that day, in which my score went from 95 to 90. Liberty Mutual reviewed it and determined that the app had some GPS anomalies during that trip and agree to remove that driving event. However, they never restored the points I lost, despite assuring me they would during two separate calls. When an automated system is being used to determine something as important as an insurance discount, it should be accurate, and when it isn’t Liberty Mutual should be responsive and helpful.
The whole experience left me feeling that RightTrack is designed primarily to make the initial insurance price look more attractive rather than provide a meaningful long-term discount.
If you are considering RightTrack, get the exact terms of the discount in writing and do not assume that a representative's verbal explanation means the discount will remain after renewal. I would also be very cautious about trusting the driving data generated by the system.
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend RightTrack, and I am extremely disappointed with Liberty Mutual's handling and representation of the program.
