Life Abroad

Life Abroad brings local weather, currency conversion and world clocks together in a calm, illustrated dashboard for everyday life across countries. Check the forecast outside, put a price in perspective and find a good time to call home. WEATHER FOR YOUR CHOSEN CITY See current conditions, feels-like temperature and hourly or daily forecasts from Apple Weather. Open the full forecast for up to 24 hours or 10 days. Search for a city, or use your location once and confirm the city before saving. Your selection stays in place until you change it. EVERYDAY CURRENCY CONVERSION Keep the currencies you use together. Tap a currency row and enter an amount to see the other equivalents, then switch the input currency or reset the amounts. Choose a separate base currency for your everyday rate view, and add or reorder your saved currencies. TIME FOR THE PEOPLE WHO MATTER Save world clocks for friends, family and colleagues. Give cities personal labels and compare times by moving every clock together, with 15-minute steps for finer adjustments. Return to live time with one tap. MAKE IT YOURS Choose Light, Dark or System appearance, Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the cities and currencies that belong in your day. No account is required. Your settings are saved on your device. PREVIOUSLY LOADED DATA, EVEN OFFLINE Saved exchange rates and weather remain available when you lose your connection. Update times and stale-data notices help you judge what is current. New forecasts, rates and city searches need an internet connection. Weather comes from Apple Weather. Exchange rates use Coinbase market rates, with Frankfurter reference rates as a fallback, and exclude bank and card fees. Forecast and currency availability depend on the providers. Optional location access is used for a one-time lookup, with no background location tracking.
