Regardless I f how private I make my profile, spammers always find a way to get my private email. Thank you LinkedIn.

Having to pay to message, is pathetic
The fact you can’t message someone without being connected, is silly. It makes the app useless in most situations. If someone is hiring, and I’m a candidate: I shouldn’t have to pay just to send them a message.

I’m gonna add on to this: this app is pure AI slop 100% if you love seeing AI drawings and people making themselves AI plus AI written posts this is for you! It’s completely soulless and lazy. I can’t get enough of blocking all of these lazy creativity-less people.
Way too many “promos” for autozone and Walmart that’s pretty much all the results for any jobs search. Also the video section is so cringe it’s only people doing a poor job trying to be relatable to the youth and failing.

“access to your account has been temporarily restricted”
Randomly logged me out of the app and then tried to prompt me to verify with id that I do not have because I am a minor. Unusable for students trying to network
Good but could be better
Overall, this is easy to use but really needs two key features: 1. Better search with filters; 2) MUST add OOTB formatting (Mark Russinovich at MSFT has already built it - make it GA!)
Usually functions quite well
I manage several social media pages for my company and its subsidiaries, and a recent UI update has made nearly impossible to switch between pages and my profile to react to posts.

The app is fine, sort of. LinkedIn is really just a big data mining operation with user consent. Employer applications ask if you have a LinkedIn profile but it is never actually used for anything. Companies pump out PR, recruiters and bots try to do what they do, and LinkedIn gathers your data and does what places do with your data. I honestly dislike LinkedIn but the app is what it is - you have to decide if it’s worth it.

It has become a total joke in recent years.
Use Indeed instead.
This has to be one of the worst job listing sites on the market. They do nothing about scam posts or companies that will literally post the same job over and over and over again with no one getting hired. They just allow your information to be given to other companies. If you report the scams and fraudulent behavior all they do is say it’s not valid and allow the scammers to continue to scam. It’s a waste of a job seekers time to invest anything in this job board. I went with LinkedIn because I was told it was better than Indeed and that was completely false. If you want real job listings where you get to talk to real people and not scammers go with Indeed. If you want to waste your time go with LinkedIn. The choice is yours to make. Me personally I don’t enjoy wasting my time.

Poor Verification and Support
Their identity verification process can keep your business from growing. I've been waiting for over month to keep using my account. And when I want to contact someone about it, it tells me to login, well I can't login because your verification process isn't working. Then it takes awhile to find an email, all their responses are generic and they close the case on you mid communication. I was a premium member also.

Absolutely rubbish website and app
I made my account this morning to find more job opportunities and to build networking connections. My account was suddenly restricted without warning and LinkedIn required me to “verify” my account with government ID. Complete invasion of privacy. I strongly do not recommend LinkedIn.
Accidentally following people!!! Hate it!
The way the app is set up feels intentional like you should accidentally “follow” people. Someone random will be on your feed and while scrolling you’ll accidentally follow them. Please update this!!!!!
Can’t message people hiring
It’s BS that I can’t message someone hiring because we aren’t a connection.
Issues
Good for networking. Although not very good membership, decided to give in and start the free trial for linked in. Unfortunately every premium feature just tells me to try again later. Thank god it was free!

After having several months of a hacker on my LinkedIn profile. I thought let’s create a completely new profile. It was that bad. I contacted LinkedIn and got top quality advice. I was BACK on to my LinkedIn profile within days. I could not thank them enough. I am back on track. Thank you.
