Problem with hearing
Hearing volume through the hearing aid drops when transcribing is on. And picking up speech is very poor. Sorry, will keep looking.
Update: I had to put my iPhone into speaker mode and turn off my hearing aid. System working.

Live Transcribe has been very helpful in places with more noise like restaurants and public areas
I have been hard of hearing for 30 or so years. In the last few years my hearing has been more challenging especially in noisy places or “clarity” of conversations. Too often hard of hearing is assumed that only volume is needed. I am so thankful for your understanding, if the high quality of accuracy in transcribing and the speed of everything to my screen. Thank you so much! I have shared your service and you might have new customers who didn’t know such a service existed.😊

I am hearing and visually impaired and used this app for the first time for an important phone call. the transcript wasn’t exact but close enough. Would like a save option. Just a thought. Will use it again. Thanks.

3-day trial that turns into a full-year charge
I downloaded this app just to try it out, but it wouldn’t really let me test it without signing up for a 3-day free trial that automatically converts into a full-year subscription. There wasn’t even a monthly option.
Three days is an extremely short trial period, and unfortunately I forgot to cancel in time. I was then charged for an entire year. When I canceled afterward, I found out the subscription simply stays active until next year because the full annual payment had already been taken.
I understand that I agreed to the trial terms, but I really dislike this setup. A 3-day trial followed by an automatic one-year charge feels very aggressive, especially when there’s no monthly option. I’m leaving this review so other people know exactly what they’re signing up for. If you decide to try it, set a reminder immediately so you don’t forget to cancel or even better DO NOT get this app.

Great app
As above, great service. My $5k hearing aids just don’t “cut it” and I will not consider radical surgery. I use your service, along with my “aids”, during most of my conversations with my wife. Without the above, I’d be lost in a hearing miasma, of which I have no control over. That said, I’m old but I’m still upright! Contact me for more insight about your service.

Very Difficult
Every time the microphone button is pressed, to turn it off you have to shut the entire app down. You’d think there would be a pause button, but no such thing on an iPad. Very difficult.
My favorite paid transcription app!!!!
Love this app! It manages quiet and noisy backgrounds with ease. I love the color coding of different voices and the separation of text. It shows pauses in the conversation or when different speakers join in which is helpful compared to the single block of text other apps give you.
Cuts of sound in my hearing aids
I have Bluetooth linked Phonak hearing aids. When I first got Live Transcribe it worked flawlessly with my aids. Now whenever I turn on Live Transcribe it cuts off the sound in my hearing aids.

This Is a Scam App
I paid $79 for this app. It is a clone of a free service. What’s worse, it DOES NOT WORK. Even with the $79 subscription, the app keeps demanding additional money for more time. It is a complete SCAM and Apple should discontinue the IOS version. If possible, I would give it zero stars for a 0 rating.
