Slight problem

I like the app its simple and lets me track loans, the issue i have is that on tbe owed section the total is wrong, in my case it says 799usd owed but when i see below it the split by the people that owe me one person owes 800 and the other 350, both pending so the total owed is 1150 not 799, so i dont get the total mismatch. For me being sble to glance at totsls reliably is a must amd sinve i can't trust it now y rate it at 3 stars.

We'd like to investigate the difference you're seeing. Great app - Great developer

I’ve been in need of a loan tracker for a little while.

I downloaded this app and it’s been great. I initially thought it had a live link that my friends could use to see their live balance owing to me but I was mistaken. I had to send a new pdf updated document or link to a new temporary site that stayed live for 3 days each time they wanted an update.
This wasn’t what I wanted so I contacted the developer and he was super receptive to the idea. He developed it and now we have live links. Literally only took a couple of weeks and he had it all up and running, and designed beautifully too!

I have purchased the lifetime subscription because I can see with the developments from this developer, he is on a roll and has great ideas coming!

Is it possible to turn off the idea tips by any chance? There’s quite a lot of tips and nudges and I don’t really need them.

You Owe Me has been a life saver. My kids can no longer forget what I loan them or what they have paid back. Being able to add interest is a super plus. The reminders and letters gets to the point. I love this app

Updated still same issue

I don’t think this app is not useful anymore. Updated still unable to see the details of my past entries. It just hangs and cannot click or edit anything. Trying to see a different app to move there. This is loss of all the historical data and is very frustrating. Can’t the developers do basic testing when the app is released?

Update:
The latest version fixed it- got all my data back. Suggest to test the future fixes better before releases.

Great App

This is a very useful App and I have been using this to track payments for many years already. Very simple to use and straight forward . Unfortunately after the last update , the App freezes every time i make a data entry . I am sure this is just a temporary bug or maybe the update is still in progress. I am sure that the developer will be able to fix this.

This app is so useful for me to keep my data safe and right by my side. I hated having to go get my notebook every time a transaction was made. It’s so nice having all the details of each transaction too. This app makes life a little easier for me. Thank you for coming up with something so useful.

Worked great till upgrade

I was very happy with this app until I upgraded. At first I couldn’t get the app to open, so I deleted it and reinstalled it, and now one of my loans is gone. I tried to send an email directly from the software but the app won’t let me. I’ll be happy to change my rating if you can help me figure out how to recover the missing data.

Perfect app for handling IOUs!

This app is not overly complicated nor lacking in important features. It’s intuitive, efficient, and easy to use. It has been SO helpful for me in managing the money paid back and forth between me and my elderly parents. I manage their online subscriptions, some of their utilities accounts, and online purchases, because they really struggle with computer and internet functions. I pay for things for them and then use this app to keep track of what I’ve paid. Then they pay me back what they owe me every few weeks or so and I can easily reconcile the debt. The app is really great for someone like me who has to make a lot of entries. It even has a recurring charge function that is very helpful for handling bills with the same amount every month. I also use the app for IOUs for random things between my boyfriend and I, because I do all the grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, etc, but he usually pays for things like plane tickets, hotel stays, etc. It has made life easier for me, my boyfriend, and my parents because this way we don’t have to reconcile debts every time they happen. I can just handle it with them periodically and still keep the money exchanges accurate. I highly recommend this app!

Truly a favorite app! I use this app more consistently than 99% of all others on my phone. It is invaluable at keeping me on track with purchases made on behalf of multiple family members - it is so easy to use and allows all of us to see where we are at any point in time. I love this app! Easy to use and very efficient

This app has made my life so much easier. Between keeping track of the accounts and bills I manage for my elderly parents, (which I pay and they pay me back), and same for my boyfriend and me, (which I pay and he pays me back), I have a lot of loans and repayments happening. This app makes it so I can make sure everything is easily accounted for. It also has a feature for recurring charges/payments, which has been a big help as well. I wish they had a way to schedule recurring things on a longer time interval than just one month (such as every 3 months or annually), but other than that, it’s a very easy to use, not overly complicated, efficient app if you are busy and need to track these kinds of things. I highly recommend it!

Simple, Stress-Free Way to Track Family Loans

I use You Owe Me to keep track of loans I give to my kids, and it’s been great. The app is very easy to use, even for someone like me who isn’t very tech-savvy. I had a few questions when I first started, and the developer was incredibly responsive and helpful. It’s taken all the stress out of tracking money between family. I would definitely recommend this app.

This app is AMAZING!!

I don’t even know how to start this review because there is so much I want to talk about. I downloaded this app not expecting much because I usually judge the ability of an app based on the rating and how many review there are. Needless to say I guessed wrong! As soon as I started using this app just the looks and feel of where everything was placed really spoke to me as it’s something that you won’t see in other apps for this use and it’s very organized. The app also runs very smoothly and I’ve only ever found one bug and that was in regard to a profile picture issue. Following this discovery I reached out to the app developer as they conveniently place their support form in the user settings and they got back to me extremely quickly and fixed the issue in the next update. On top of this, the support and reassurance that I got from the app developer was above and beyond. I also had a few ideas that I thought of for the app as I am a business man myself and always looking for more opportunities to grow. Thankfully, the app developer also offers a suggestions form under the user setting as well, which gives the user the ability to share any ideas they might have. This form requires you to enter an email address incase the need for the app developer to get back to you with more questions and I find that this really shows a level of commitment and engagement from the app developer to take in community feedback to make the app better. Words can’t explain how kind and considerate this app developer is in making sure the customer is satisfied and the app gets the fixes it might need. In conclusion, the app itself with all the features, the layout and the customer support gives me the ability to say that I would 100% recommend this app to anyone who is looking to track money that is owed to them or money that they owe to someone else!
