A very frustrating experience
My family absolutely love Longleat, we go to the Festival of Light almost every year and often in the summer.
What we need from an app is quick access to preloaded audio for the safari guide.
What we now get is an app that makes you register an account (why!?), doesn’t work offline (despite poor 4G coverage in the area) and an audio guide that frequently gets killed if you let the screen go to sleep (I think due to not registering as an audio playback app in iOS properly).
Ultimately this led to our drive round the park having an undertone of frustration while my wife struggled to get the app to load up (it was already downloaded) audio to play for the right area and not stop half way through.
This app needs a serious rethink! Or god forbid just let people download an mp3 for the tour to play in an app of their choice.

Can’t ever seem to get the app to work when actually at Longleat!
They have poor WiFi and data / cellular coverage so the app just tries to load endlessly and is rendered useless during your actual time in the park, especially during the safari drive, which is a real shame!
Never send the confirmation code
Fed up with these apps that say they are sending you a log in code and never do. Can’t use the app because it requires it at signup and no support function in the app at that stage
Not all change is good
Why get rid of the audio guide of the safari? It was a great feature. Not sure what the point is in the rest.

This app is amazing tell you all about the animals and how they’re doing because me and my mum Go to Longleat every weekend if we can, I can’t believe the tiger cubs are growing up so much The only thing is you can’t do the quizzes anymore and this and I really love The quizzes they make me think about animals, and how endangered some are

Great day out at Longleat
10/10 day out I loved going round looking at all the animals with multiple fascinating creatures that you rarely find in other collections. Would recommend that everyone goes it is in my opinion one of the best zoo/safari parks in the uk. My favourite type animals where all the small mammals like the wombat, koalas, giant otters and how can I forget the three incredible porcupine species. Overall it was a great day out and I can’t wait for my next visit.

I’m very happy with this app because you can know where all the animals are in there enclosures and know we’re all the shops and delicious food restaurants are so you can enjoy your delectable food and see all the wonderful animals.👍🤩🤩

Me and my partner did the longleat bronze safari wasn’t sure what to expect . I have full land rover drive round with a guide who was amazing answered all our questions . Seeing the animal up really close is a dream experience highly recommend five stars perfect day out
Update on all the animals
I don’t see much update on the animals as much as I would have expected. I am disappointed that I am disabled and can’t afford to get a membership or a day pass I used to go with my kids when they were younger but now I don’t get out and miss my Longleat family members and animals.

Family enjoyed great 2days. 1 just wasn’t enough. All staff very friendly polite well Trained.It rained of course but staff joked with us and made our trip fun. We are a disabled family but managed fine. The animals were so well looked after. We did the boat which was great staff jokes went down well with our young child. The bus got caught in traffic but the driver was calm and kept us informed as we went around. Thanks for a great 2 days

Incredible place with incredible energy ,
My wife and I so enjoyed every element of the longleat experience, loved the Steve Backshall animal talk ! Drive through safari was amazing and loved the Boat trip humour from our guide Dean! What a day and we will always support and return !

Useless map
Absolutely useless map (main square map), you are better off downloading the PDF version. No overview of the safari tour route, which should be a basic thing to have. The guide was good.
