Gorgeous Resort and Spectacular Food!
We stayed at the Serenity Bay Resort and it was the best vacation experience our family has ever had. The location is simply jaw dropping, and the uniquely themed restaurants were great fun. I held back on the last star because the app can be frustrating to use at times. This is a problem because all reservations are done through the app, so it desperately needs improvement. Additionally, the resort failed to show the World Cup final in the theater. A hugely missed opportunity.

Utterly Pointless
Just lowered our review to 1-star - cannot even login.
We downloaded this app in the vain hope of accessing customer services, obtaining menus, checking timings, finding a map, seeing the entertainment schedule, etc. - all the useful material a guest might actually need or want; instead it was Lopesan Group simply trying to flog its wares.
A disappointing app for 2010; pretty much unforgivable in 2026.

What the…?
it was not great. I got food poisoning (or worse). don’t get me wrong. The people were really nice and the resort was really cool. But da food was not great. (except Yolo and ice-cream factory.) and our assistant? The kiddy pool lifeguard gave us better service. Forgetting reservations, bad rooms, (at least my friends) etc. in conclusion, it could be better.

Map is unusable
Has anyone at Lopesan even tried using the app?? The hotel map can’t be zoomed in on, so you can’t see where anything is. It’s been useless for years now.
Iberostar better
It was all right. Overrated in my opinion. The resort is too massive, you really gotta walk to do anything. The vibe on the resort wasn’t up to par. It felt not as alive as it should’ve been, I think things be spaced too far apart is definitely one of the causes. Also no swim up bar. What the heck
Lopesan Costa Bavaro app not working!
I can't even sign in and because of that we can't even book restaurants reservation. I even upgraded to UNIQUE experience but we can't even eat dinner! I tried to walk in to different restaurants here but they said they need reservations and they can't even make reservations in the restaurants. Horrible!

Made our stay even better!
Very easy to use and navigate. Makes booking a la carts restaurants a breeze. Best feature is the map with live location making it simple to figure out where to go next. Just like the rest of my stay at Lopesan Costa Bávaro, 5 stars!

Bad restaurant booking policy
We come to go dining as a family. We were not allowed to reserve at least the first night in advance. We try the iraní teppanyaki and it shows as blocked through Saturday. And we chose the hotel because of the Asador steakhouse and it says it’s Adults Only. What am I supposed to do with the kids?.
No upgrade offered with the Hotels.com membership and they gave us a room overlooking street traffic.

Food real Bad !
The Hotel is real beautiful and people are nice. The food is really low quality, seriously not good quality. Long lines for towels and have to walk a mile to get anywhere. They dont have enough staff on the bars so it would take forever for a drink. They really make u walk for your money. Would never come back. Such a beautiful place but run very sheep ! Shame on management.
