Wonderful family connection
We have had our first a few years now. My son and his family live an hour away so the Luv Link allows us that small reminder we are thing of them. We love it!!!

I absolutely love the LuvLink! It was such a fun surprise gift from my dear friend. She moved away to take care of her mom. She’s so busy, and I don’t want to interfere with her day by reaching out. LuvLink is a great way to stay connected when time is tight, and to show you care. it’s easy for her and easy for me and keeps our friendship going over all the miles.

Lamps Are Awesome, the Directions Awful
The lamps themselves are fantastic! I have one in Japan and one in the USA, and they work reliably across the world. Setup was surprisingly simple, which is important when you’re helping someone on the other side of the planet get connected.
My biggest complaint is the app and its documentation. While we’ve had success sending messages and colors, it’s often unclear exactly how certain features are supposed to work. For example, it’s difficult to know whether a message was successfully received without separately contacting the other person through text or social media. Features like Color Codes are especially confusing. It’s not always clear whether you’re supposed to send a color code from your lamp settings, the recipient’s lamp settings, or somewhere else entirely. After hours of experimenting, searching online, and even using multiple AI tools to help understand the app, we still aren't completely sure how some features are intended to work. 3 AI players said the directions are vague and feels like a reverse engineering experience.
The lamps are great, but too much of the app feels like trial and error. Better instructions, clearer explanations, detailed features explanations in the box and a few complete support videos would make a huge difference.
The hardware deserves 5 stars. The app experience needs improvement.

Luv my Luv Link! my bff and I really enjoy our lamps! Our men even enjoy playing along! They report when they see a “boop” ! It’s a lot of fun!
Instant hugs
So beautiful to connect with my grandchildren with something that they can interact with and not needing assistance. I even get pics from their Mum of the children with big smiles on their faces and the lamp lit up 💙

My light has red and amber lights a lot.

This light doesn’t work well at all. It never stays on longer than a few minutes. It doesn’t stay bright and you can use the top to tap for the color you want come on. Too expensive not to work correctly

I brought two lamps. One for me and my husband and one for our daughter we had adopted out. And it is the best thing ever. I absolutely love seeing the light go off.
Terrible App Terrible Supporr
6 weeks of them asking and re-asking same tech questions to which I gave, every time, the same answer. Only for them to conclude it’s an unexplainable problem, and thank me for all my time, sending screen shots, etc.
It’s obviously THEM, their product and their app. Then they say get in touch if there is anything they can do ….. like I’m a lab rat paying a lot of money to waste my time for the privilege of trying to use their stuff. SEND A NEW DEVICE LOSERS!!! You sell connection, what a fraud.

Tap
My first lamp stopped allowing me to tap it after about 6mo. I could still use the app and see colors from loved ones. I just couldn’t tap it anymore.
Finicky
I love the concept of LuvLink, of being able to send a message to far away friends to let them know I’m thinking of them. Unfortunately, I have had some problems with the actual use of the lamp. I can no longer activate it by touch, I have to activate it through the app. Also, it will often turn red and I have to unplug it for a few days to get it to reset so I can send a light again in my color. I hesitate to buy this gift for other friends because of these issues.
