I have been using M1 for about two years now and wow . What a great company to have my investments in . This is the perfect brokerage to have longterm investments in . Their Pie investing strategy where you can choose what percent you want your investments to be is very easy so I don’t have to think about buying multiple different stocks/funds every time I deposit. Inability to find specific stocks within the pie after update
Currently, there’s no way to buy individual stocks after the update. Please fix ASAP!

I’ve never seen another investing platform like it, can’t wait to see where my account is a year from now. Investing in my four favorite mega cap stocks right now, Amazon, meta, Microsoft, and NVDA!

put money in to the account, apparently the default is it will automatically invest it without your say so without any confirmation and that is the default. So if you wanted to put money into the account and wait a little bit to decide whether you’re going to buy or how much you’re going to buy or any of that, too late, they already invested the money because that’s the default.

I’ve used M1 on and off for quite a few years, and I really love it. I’ve been using it more and more lately and I love that you can constantly audit and modify your own holdings. The ability to have control over how your investment purchases are allocated is actually a great way to learn investing.

Love M1 concept not execution
Instead of asking for all of the proof of who I’m am docs up front they nickel and dime you and it starts to make you wonder if it’s a real company and not a scam. So far I’m happy with them but until they get their act together I won’t feel comfortable putting real money in it. Their concept is amazing I just hope they can get their act together.

A shell of itself
Used it for years, but features were removed, stability problems arrived, heard about major financial/staff issues. Interest rate was leading for a while, but I moved my direct deposit and most of my money to Robinhood. I like some M1 features better, but Robinhood has been better for my needs as my net worth has increased. They act like they’re not a startup, but they don’t have the funding to fix minor bugs and spelling mistakes.

Incredibly solid
Been using M1 for several years now and it matches my mental model of how I want to passively invest. Being able to control percentages and have things continually rebalance means you can set and forget. Very flexible and useful! I very rarely write reviews but they've done a great job here.

The buy and sell system is dumb af and why is finding a ticker for a stock and an ETF in different sections🤔 completely dumb and why do I have to need to have 2 factor authentication 🤔 mf annoying…the only thing I like is the margin feature
Man this company is going down hill
I’ve been trying to find a way of report a bug but there nothing for it. I can view my investment through the app anymore this bug has been around for more than month. The website is scroll page issues and helps pop display issues. Idk but I’m taking my money out and moving somewhere else.
