App doesn’t work
App doesn’t register to membership when entered , and then when it finally did after months of trying can’t check out. Even friendly staff at the store couldn’t figure out why. Please fix it
Horrible app not does not work
The is a horrible app in terms of trying to register as a first time account to become a member. The staff cannot help register manually or anything at the counter either, no one can help. I’ve even tried uninstalling and reinstalling this.
Very discouraging and I’ve tried multiple times so had no choice but to order and not receive any points. Unsure if I will order again without the company recognising the hardship in enabling customers to pledge their loyalty…

Does not support WA stores
Stores in WA are close and I cannot order through the app. Favouritism for the Eastern states
Misleading marketing to download their app
Saw the sign said $4.80 for the drink required to join their membership, however after registered all your details and asking for that sales they said it’s for the second one, have to buy two. So much regret for downloaded and registered with unclear marketing. Bye

Not user friendly
Can’t update profile. Store staff can’t make changes either. Contacted developer, they didn’t respond. Customers should have full control, access and management of their personal details not be held hostage.

Charged then error pop out
I ordered from the app, even paid for my drinks then suddenly an error pop out.
Went to the store to show them that I have put in my order but the store told me they cannot find my order, and cannot do anything about it. Only directed me to the Machi Machi Australia instagram to get my refund.
In the end I have to pay again to get my drink.
Will not recommend ordering from this app again.

Ongoing SMS Verification Issue
Despite updating the app, every time it asks me to input my number for SMS verification the code sent to me is always ‘expired’. I gave up after three attempts. I can login fine but when I want to view the news or rewards it makes me do the verification and the SMS code is always expired. The app doesn’t work. My local Machi Machi doesn’t even scan the QR code they have to manually type the membership code so I’m not really sure why there is an app in the first place. Lots of improvement required.

Does not notify when ready for pick up
This app needs a lot of improvement.
1. It forces you to select a home store before you can place an order. So you need to change home store each time when you order from a different location
2. It does not allow store staff to notify you when order is ready to pick up. So you have to guess when it’s ready

Payment failure but charges my card
Nothing worse than a useless app that still tries to charge you when they can’t provide the service. I have tried numerous times to order on the app but it always says payment fails because of some post code issue. My post code is the same as the shop I’m trying to order from! Worse, they still try to charge my card. Every time I have to watch my card and prepare to dispute it. There is no customer service in the app and the shop employees would simply say “we don’t know anything about the app”. Then who knows??
