Love this app for trail walking and riding. GPS is rock solid!
3D/2D Map App
The 3D topographical map gives an excellent representation of actual terrain. Overlaying the roads into it, prove great for steep mountainous inclines or declines. Truckers, or large recreational vehicles, small moving trailer on passenger vehicles will find this App an excellent reference to plan for cross country trips. Other maps use satellite views which don’t really help. The plus is the viewable hiking trails.

Blank screen
When going in to settings, the button on the left, sometime the screen goes blank, then you have to press it several times before the setting dialog appears. This is very annoying
Would like to see
The maps show forestry roads but do not show backcountry camp sites. Hope this will be added soon.
Great 3D Tracking and visualization
Love how this app visualises the topography and tracks as well as recording your hikes.
Please fix the error when you want to review the saved track. It lands itself somewhere in the Atlantic by default.

Excellent GPS tracking app.
- simple, intuitive user interface
- comprehensive maps which include almost all local trails
- easy to share tracks with other users (who do not need to have Maps 3D)
- easy to offload tracks to other devices and view in Google Earth, Garmin Basecamp, etc.
- I no longer use my expensive Garmin handheld GPS!

Layers not showing, maps can be inaccurate
I like the concept and would like to test it out when I go hiking. But; I am wary to begin as it doesn’t show the body of water I live next to (a lake). If this is the case, what else is not showing?
Also when clicking the layers button, I could scroll through ‘something’ but there was no text to say what layer I was looking at.

Better than my 6 year old Garmin
This app is very user friendly. Not as accurate as I’d like but good enough to be very helpful.
I finished crossing Mt Mamquam Glacier two days ago and this was more useful than my old Garmin Etrax 20. Instant and easy...”we should be more to the right, to pick up our track up”.
When the clouds rolled in on a 14 hr hike...wasting time is no fun.
This app helped a lot.

Простое и удобное в использование приложение. Завораживает своим решением применив «3D рельеф». Оптимизировано для работы на телефоне, никаких проблем с загрузкой карт. Есть абсолютно все города нашей необъятной страны.
Need to know
I’m considering the Pro version, but I’ve found that not every app that costs money is ad-free. I don’t mind a charge, but I need to know that there are (and will be) no ads. Out of 1,200 apps, I have only one that has ads, and it’s somewhat of a necessity.
UPDATE: My question has been answered and I purchased the Premium version (and changed this to five stars). Thank you!
(I’m not sure why the developers’ response and my subsequent response don’t show up on the original review—maybe because I no longer have this version, but the Premium version? Or maybe there’s a delay? Hopefully, the original doesn’t appear as though it’s unanswered—by either of us.)

This is my main mapping app. I plan every walk in here. I tried others but find the route planning tool to be much easier to use in this one.

Can’t Begin
Seems like a good idea but. Downloaded and looked at faq to find out how to plot route on map. Answer is use main menu to locate plan route. Could not find this feature under main menu

На iPad используется только середина экрана, всё остальное черное. Принудительный переход в портретный режим. Неужели трудно сделать отдельную версию для большого экрана?
Good Elevation GPX Files
Of probably a dozen apps I’ve tried out for making gpx files of my hikes I find this one generates the most detailed elevation history. And then is the only one I’ve found to display tracks in 3D. Very nice.
Great app
Very handy to have. Maybe the waypoints could have an option to be pop ups rather than having to select the green dots to open them. You can’t zoom in enough to tap waypoints that are close together. It would also be a reminder if you’re not looking at you’re phone as you move.

Haven't made the most if it yet, but has potential. Worth a look...
Good potential
Good potential but very frustrating to put waypoints in and no back function if you make a mistake. It also doesn’t give options to the route you can take and simply picks the shortest distance. Search function is very glitchy and doesn’t find many names. Just spent 2 hours putting my waypoints in for a 10 day treck just to accidentally press delete (no going back, and nothing asking if I was sure).... very frustrating app that needs improvement. Wish I could get my money back until they fix these glitches.
