No longer works
After doing the update to the app I can no longer use it, it requires me to sign in to use the app, it keeps saying that my username or password is invalid although I can sign into the Masterbuilt website with the same account. This app used to be useful but now I can’t use it, I guess I never should have updated it.

Didn’t work well before, but now the update won’t even let you connect
Before I could get the app to make a connection but it was always in safe mode no matter what. Annoying but I could work around that. With the latest update I can’t even get the app to connect. Today is going to be my last attempt with this unit. I’ll be buying something else from another manufacturer while the Father’s Day sales are still going.

Doesn’t show correct device
Just received my vertical smoker 710. When the app found the device it shows it to be a gravity feed smoker which it is not. 🤷♀️ The app still turned off the smoker but you would think it would label the device correctly. I’ll see how the app works tomorrow when I smoke a chicken.

It connected really easy, but it thinks mine is a gravity series even though it’s a 710
Still places smoker in safe mode when connecting
Still places the smoker in safe mode after connecting, informing me that my door is open, when it is indeed closed and never had been opened! App is useless. Just set it manually and avoid frustration
