Love My Gravity Not the App
While I love my Masterbuilt gravity cooker. The app is unimaginable bad. Or maybe it’s just the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on the Masterbuilt. In any case, I have to restart the connection from scratch anytime I try to use it.
And right now, I can’t log into the app. It’s telling me the password I have always used is no longer valid and doesn’t meet the character requirements even though it does. I tried to reset my password, but it won’t send me an email. So I’m stuck.

Terrible
It’s a terrible app. Refuses to remain connected to the grill for more than a few hours. Have to re-pair the app every time you want to use the grill. The app will even require you to log back in mid cook. It’s astonishingly bad.
Horrible
This app is absolutely the worst app I have ever interacted with. The fact it fails to connect to my grill is astonishing. Use it one day and the next it can’t find the grill. Remove the grill from device list and add it again. Next day can’t find it. Never ending vicious cycle. Then it logs me out randomly. I’ve used this app across two different iPhone models and it’s always the same sub standard app. People need to stop reviewing the grill on here and start reviewing the poorly released app that barely works.

Hate to say it but the app is still horrible. The only way to successfully use the app is to remove the grill and pair it again. I have to do this every time I want to use this feature.

Can you guess the password requirements? My password I’ve used for forever is now not letting me sign in. Create a new account with new password meeting the minimum requirements and it keeps telling me I’m not. It’s at least 8 characters, has more than one uppercase, lowercase, and number. What else do I need to include????

Horribly useless
App will no longer login in. Just get an error stating “and error has occurred, please try again later”. Have force quit, deleted and redownloaded, nothing works. Grill is great, app is useless.
Cooks Good, App is Buggy
It doesn’t save my history like it’s supposed to.
Connectivity
The app is great. I often times have issues with connecting it initially though. Sometimes it will do it automatically and other times I have to manually reconnect it from the grill itself. Other than that the app works well!

The biggest bug in this app is that it constantly signs you out, mid-smoke. This app is more secure than my banking apps. I wish they would create a fix to limit logouts to every 90 days or so. I’m not overly concerned with hackers obtaining my smoke data.
Along those lines, when signing back in the app does not auto-populate username/password stored in my device. These minor fixes would make the app much more enjoyable.

Error messages
It needs some work. When you get an error message it offers you the option to delete it. Which it then won’t do. You have to turn the app and the bbq fully off and then back on to clear a simple (and in those cases wrong) error.
Terrible
The app is absolutely terrible! I have had my grill for about 3 years and I love the grill. The app is junk!!!! It constantly looses connection and they still haven’t been able to fix it. Why and how have the developers not been able to fix this issue?!?!

I’ve always had the same issues absolutely everyone has complained about. Well now it doesn’t seem my device and if I remove it I can no longer afford it. It says to select a type and nothing shows. So the app is now useless. I don’t see how hard it is to get a functioning app
Meh
This app could be amazing. Unfortunately, it automatically logs me out multiple times during a cook. It’s a major pain in the rear to have to login every time it logs me out
App is not useable at all.
The reliability of this app is nonexistent customer service knows this and takes no actions into fixing it. So if you bought the grill for ease of use you might as well return the grill.
Does not adjust temperature when changed in the app
It shows the temperature of the smoker but when you change the temp in the app it does not change it on the smoker. Yes it is connected to WiFi properly.
Great App Hindered by One Frustrating Bug
This app is well designed and typically works well in letting me monitor and control my grill. However…it keeps logging me out on what feels like an every other week basis and it’s super frustrating. On top of that, it doesn’t seem to support the iOS Passwords app so when it does randomly decide I need to be logged out, I can easily autofill and log back in. If the developers can address that bug, it would be a 5/5 stars from me.

App issues
The masterbuilt app is horrible. Connections issues every cook. Your either kick out of your account or the smoker falls off and you can’t connect. What good is an app if you can’t use it?
560 temp control
Have issues with the accuracy of the temp probe for the smoking/ grilling box. The actual temperature of smoker chamber is actually 30° lower than the reading. I have replaced the probe, but the new probe has the same reading as the original. Not sure if it’s the controller or an issue with the placement/location of the probe. Any known fixes ? Overall very satisfied with the unit. Thanks Larry Markee

App doesn’t work
The app stopped working for me. It wouldn’t recognize the grill that I connected previously. I tried deleting and adding it again then it disappeared. Now when I try to add a device, it doesn’t even give me options to choose from so I can’t add it back. This thing is completely useless.
