Top Notch and Truly Responsive
I returned to running consistently at 64 after restarting and falling off the wagon several times over the decades. I stepped from FitBit to Garmin and started using the Garmin Coach plan. I found that following its plan was leading to overtraining. I’d been watching Nick Hancock videos on YouTube and liked his nuanced approach to running coaching technique and philosophy. I decided to try out the MaxMile app.
I don’t know how he’s done without the huge resources of Garmin, but he’s beat them flat. He provides the real-time, insightful, and nuanced coaching I’ve needed that’s responsive to my data, my input, as well as my occasional questions and concerns as an older runner, who wants to progress my running, while avoiding overtraining and injury.
I have now subscribed, and think it’s an amazing bargain.
