App always glitches and doesn’t work
Everytime I need to make an order the app glitches and either doesn’t let me place order and I miss the breakfast times or sometimes doesn’t even load pages
App crashed
The app worked fine for a while. Now it won’t open for me even when I’m in a McDonald’s restaurant. I’m afraid to remove it & reload cuz I have lots of rewards points available. Frustrated!!
Lags BAD the whole time
This app is frustrating as can be. Doesn’t load properly, shuts itself down and closes you out of the app, and tooo many constant pop ups when you first open the app.
Rewards
Twice now when I’m trying to use points, the app doesn’t work and then you back out. Your points are gone. Because McDonald’s doesn’t wanna give away free stuff.
Updated App is last straw
The app has been getting more and more convoluted with every update and my desire to fuss with it and go to McDonald’s has ended.
Just going elsewhere rather than updating and giving more info and clicks to this business.
Deleted the app and will go to my local cafes and diners for foreseeable future after many years of mornings picking up food.

Already used codes!?
For the past week every time I try to use my $.99 coffee exclusive deal on the app. It tells me the code has already been used at 5 o’clock in the morning when the restaurant has just opened. How would I have used the code if the restaurant just opened? This app has continually gotten worse over the time I’ve been using it.

Great but glitchy and buggy
Theres good deals but the app is a bit buggy like all the time… I hope for a future update that makes it like others.
Horrible company
This disgusting company uses location services to use dynamic pricing against you. The price you pay in the app is not the price you pay in the drive thru.
No separation of buttons
I got logged out of my account and was trying to log back in but noticed there’s only one button for sign in and sign up, I didn’t think anything of it until I saw that when I was logged in it was a whole new account instead of the original one that I was using, I had several points on that app and lost all of it. And it isn’t very common for my generation to be bad with technology especially as someone who does very well with computers. But this is disturbingly ridiculous. The Taco Bell app is better than this sorry excuse for an app. Might as well just use DoorDash to get whatever I want from McDonald now.

A steady decline
Removing points after not using them, devaluing points, cheap food sold at a premium. The deals on this app are awful compared to what they used to be. Also, the app is always so slow and annoying to use.
The worst
So right now like I’m literally waiting for my food but we went to the drive and the app gave my mom a code and my mom was about give the lady the code but the lady said the codes invalid and took all of her points btw she had 7,000 points so the lady said to pull up to the window and another lady was their and she said like she can’t do anything about it and was giving attitude to my mom and my mom hasn’t got her paycheck so she had to pay like how come McDonald’s can’t give to us a free meal and right now my mom is writing a review right now this is so stupid and dumb don’t go to McDonald’s if you don’t want to pay with money once again this freaking stupid so I have to put it at 5 stars because then they won’t show it

Not efficient
The largest real estate company, and most recognized fast food chain in the world, needs to put a little more investment in their app. Its design seems to be more about flash, than convenience. It’s a nice way to order your food, but it’s easier to go drive thru. At the time of this review, the app still won’t let me log in to redeem points.

Deals are getting significantly worse. So greedy. Keep making the deals worse I am never eating at McDonald’s ever again
Extremely poor login experience and UI
UI is still terrible. Login experience is a nightmare. Have to check an email and the link in the email doesn’t work in any browser besides Safari…oh and it logs users out about once a week. Ridiculous predatory behavior.
Edit: I see they just jacked up the reward points. Thanks for the devaluation. Learn from Chick-fil-A, their UI/UX is solid.

Data collection not rejectable
The data collection in this app cannot be disabled or rejected, and collects before you accept the ToS. Don’t waste your time downloading. Apple please crack down on this privacy violating app.
System down
Can’t get my money back cause of the system is down
Terrible rewards program
They restrict you to one deal OR reward per transaction, and the deals save more money than the top tier rewards, so it never makes sense to cash out a reward and I’m sitting on over 20000 points and never get the chance to spend it unless I go without my family, which I don’t do often. Why is the reward currency mutually exclusive with deals???
