Pathetic service
They take your money cancel your trip and ask to reschedule and only give rescheduling for one side bunch of crooks who steal people hard earned money worst services please never book from them.
Straight up doesn’t work
Putting aside the super wonky UI, it straight up doesn’t work. Filled in all the details of my trip, then pressed Buy Tickets, only for it to open megabus.com in my browser app, with none of the trip details filled in, forcing me to repeat the whole process on their website. So, literally useless. What a joke.

App crashes; useless
When the app was working, I could barely see the list of selections. But then it started crashing when I would make a selection

How is this app even approved? It does nothing. It’s a static search form that crashes while you use it and if you make it to the end and want to book it just opens the Megabus website as a blank search form to start your search there from scratch.
Fellas, if the Megabus mobile site was in working order (oh, for example not forgetting NYC as a city they serve), I wouldn’t have gotten this app in the first place. Thankfully FlixBus (now parent company of Greyhound) operate a reliable service to the same places and have an app with 52k 5-star reviews. Tells you everything you need to know

TERRIBLE APP STOLEN MY MONEY
This app is terrible! I purchase a ticket, but never received the confirmation to get on the bus. I had to pay again when I was getting on the bus. I want my money back and want them to do better.

I don’t understand how a business can have an app this bad… The interface seems like a bad beta version. Logging in takes you out of the app, trying to select the destination doesn’t work as there are only two choices, the save trip button doesn’t work, and the trip status button doesn’t work. This totally defeats the purpose and eliminates any convenience this app could provide. If you’re going to continue being comfortable taking customer’s money, it’s way past time to have a functioning app…

This App Is Garbage
Don’t waste your time with this outdated app - it doesn’t work. If you need to track your bus go to the Megabus website and go to the “Check my bus” tab, select “Track my bus”, then enter your departure and arrival destinations.

Worst App On My IPhone
Terrible app. Crashed when picking destination 4 times. Click “Map”. Nothing. “Updated 5 years ago”. No way. Still crashing.

Long story short, this app is terrible, the actual service is okay. Download FlixBus if it’s available in your area.
The actually service that Megabus provides sadly due to the lack of public transportation in the United States we have to ride busses when I would much rather be able to take a train specially since I mostly use Megabus to travel to another city in my state that’s only about 120 miles away, something that if I lived in Europe I would be able to just ride a train instead.
Now let’s talk about just the app.
No updates in 4 years…. What else do I need to say.
Apple should remove this app from the AppStore. This app really is completely useless, the design is straight from the 1990’s and i mean design by kids in the 1990’s actually kids back then would’ve probably done a better job.

What’s the point of this app?
You can’t buy tickets on it. You enter your origin and destination and then when you click get tickets it takes you to their website where you have to, again, enter all the information. Completely useless.
