Customer Service is a Joke
I have been with MCU for many years. I was happy and felt like MCU appreciated their customers. It seemed like no matter the day or night, I could contact them and get my concerns addressed. Not sure what changed, but for the last 5 years, their customer service has dropped tremendously. Here's just one of many examples: It's 2 pm and I just called to ask a question about my escrow. There was no greeting saying you've reached MCU, no prompts, just right into hold music. I wondered if I had called the right number. So, after waiting on a forced hold for over 5 minutes, I finally was greeted and knew I had indeed contacted MCU. Then I was told the mortgage department leaves at noon and no one else in the bank could help me. It seems like a far cry from 5 years ago. If you like guessing what’s going on with your banking then MCU is your bank.

Horrible
Usually I am able to unlock and lock my card thru the app. Suddenly without notice that feature is no longer available. I am on the road with a locked card, no cash!!!! Called the rep said it was now unlocked, yet purchase gets declined. Now they are closed! This is the worst!

The app no longer works. I have to use the standard log in at the bottom. I’ve tried everything to get it back. Fix please.
Nice app!
The app definitely struggled in the beginning (see old reviews) but they have improved it greatly! The only downside is you have to deposit checks and look at your account in different parts of the app but it’s not too much of a hassle

It’s literally 2:31am est and I’m trying to check my account and it’s saying that the app is unavailable. Tried calling CU y’all and I guess it’s off line as well smh I’m so glad I switched my deposits over to my chime card and my Michigan first account. You guys are the worst.
Quick Balance
For quick review on availability and current balance that feature is sorely need. No two-step verification but fill in answer? Come on we are living in 21st century.
Do it right or not at all
After 10 tries making deposit I gave up. One time take a picture of front and when I turned check over app was back at beginning. Twice it said could not read numbers. Another couple of times the box for taking picture was just a little box up in the corner.
Tried everything and got nothing but frustration. Useless app.

Half the time it won't even open then screws up my phone
