Hmmm not exactly

A bit confusing. The description is not as relevant to the content of the app, but nonetheless could be useful.

It has been helpful to a point.

I got this app because I struggle to care about keeping things tidy around the house and my husband really prefers things to be tidy. Before you go hating on him he’s very reasonable and doesn’t usually make a big deal out of it. But the fact is it’s one way I can show him love and if something I’ve wanted to work on. Plus, it is nice when things are tidy. I just always have reasons to put off cleaning up because I feel like I can do more important things with my time. Not being lazy – I’m doing other important tasks.

So that’s the backstory.

I saw this app and read the reviews and people were saying things like on the first day. It told me to put away three things in my line of sight and I did and that was it. I thought perfect. This is exactly what I need to create good habits about cleaning up.

But when I took the quiz, apparently the app felt that what I needed was mental processing about how to not procrastinate.

It is true that not cleaning up as a form of procrastination

At first, the lessons were helpful and they did in fact help me set aside my excuses for not putting things away when I was able to. But never once has it told me to put things away. It just keeps asking me to consider a task. I’ve procrastinated on an entire day lessons to it. It feels redundant at this point.

I think I will finish out my month, which is over in a few few days and then cancel.

Major letdown

It had very little to offer.
I never write reviews but I was shocked at how different Mellow Flow was once I got it vs what I expected from their article. No wonder they didn’t have any kind of free trial - no one would ever buy it after that. I can’t believe I paid any money for this let alone as much as I did.

Worst app interface ever

I signed up by email. The instructions to download and sign in to the app are abominable. Anyone with ADD would find it difficult to impossible. The app keeps prompting me to pay a subscription fee again with no way to navigate to my account. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app 3 times and I’m still stuck. Cannot link the account I signed up for on the website to the same email address on the app. WTH people?

ADHD Info - No Solution!

Ridiculous app … I bought from an ad about Swedish order & cozy homes … The app was supposed to be daily tasks & clarifying decision making … It’s just a bunch of info about ADHD … no solution offered at all & no way to get a refund … SCAM.

My understanding

It was my understanding from your ad that I would receive text/emails w/ helpful to do’s.
I have only received the daily readings - which are helpful However, . I was looking for more to get me started up the correct path.

Misleading when purchasing

I thought I was getting a 2 month trial for $35. They charged me almost $200 because of add ons that I didn’t realize I was getting. I only got a partial refund and never used the app. Stay away!!!!

Ironically text heavy

This app is disappointing, I was hoping that it would be more dynamic and interesting to use considering ADHD sufferers would be using it. It’s boring af. Text size is too small. There are no real directions it just says ‘consider…’ but it means start writing. Dumb.

Beware

Downloaded the app and purchased a one month subscription for $30 only to have the company try to charge me $140 in addition to the $30. Had to cancel my debit card so as not to be charged. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Awareness Reminder

I love the brief, daily session format to help remind me of how I can stay present and aware of my own patterns and sometimes unhealthy behaviors. It’s like daily therapy in five minute increments.

THIS COMPANY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

I signed up for 2 months for £25 I immediately wrote and cancelled as I thought I’d pay that much, use it for 2 months then that’s it.
Well… they charged me an EXTRA £104!!!!!
I DO NOT TRUST COMPANIES THAT STEAL MONEY.
I want my ENTIRE MONEY REFUNDED AS I CANNOT TRUST A COMPANY WHICH THIEVES.

Response from developer

Hi there, I apologize for any confusion caused, however, we do not offer or advertise any "free trial" subscriptions. If you've received a plan renewal after 3 months, it means that you purchased a full 3-month subscription with us. For further assistance, please get back to us and mention this review in the support thread. Best wishes, MellowFlow Team

No, No, No

Any app that forces me to create an account before I have even tried it is going to get dumped immediately. Learn to understand that people don’t want accounts for every app, especially before they can see any value. Maybe it is just what I’d been looking for but now I’ll never know

Not as advertised

I paid for and down loaded this app, because it was advertised as the Swedish Lagom method for organized and tidy, balanced living. This is a mental health app for people with ADHD. It contains none of the tidying prompts discussed in the advertisement.
I am canceling the subscription so that it doesn’t auto-renew. I do have ADHD so I may update my review after my trial period, but so far it seems too wordy and in too fine print for my ADHD sensibilities.
I’m angry that I paid for something and got something completely different. Do better Mellowflow!

No free trial?

Seems promising but I’m not able to spend 30 bucks on a tool I have no preview into or trial usage of. Bummer.

So far not mind blowing

Ive been in and out of therapy for 30+ years. This is the first time ive accepted depression as a diagnosis. I have a feeling of heaviness to do anything all the time. My shoulders and neck hurt. So far none of the readings are really making me feel lighter in any way. Theres nothing i havent heard before. I do like the limit to the sessions. It keeps me from forgetting and feeling like im failing. I hope the quizzes and exercises get better. I already meditate and journal.

Another scam

I was charged the renewal fee of $99.99 before my trial was done, then they refuse to refund it when I cancelled my subscription.

Horrible

They double and triple charge you and then customer service just circles around the problem. The app itself is not worth it at all!
*update- received a response asking me to contact them with a link. Big surprise it did NOT WORK. UGH

Activity

The ad suggested that from day one there would be practical tasks to help you organise your life and I’m still waiting

Not useful

This is a glorified ebook unless you subscribe to several costly options. There are far better programs.
